Decided to hit Quinns for lunch because we heard that they had the best wings and it was wing wednesday so we thought, "why not?!" First of all, no clear signage outside telling us where the restaurant is exactly so we just wandered in to the main building hoping for the best. The restaurant was located upstairs and there WAS signage inside telling us where to go. We get up to the restaurant and it's seat yourself which is fine. First thing i noticed was this giant fly that looks like it's been feasting in this dining room for weeks. There were actually a few live flies hanging around the windows inside. We were greeted by a pleasant woman who quickly got us our drinks and menus and then promptly disappeared. We waited probably 15 minutes to even put in our order and then another 30 for food ( we ordered 20 wings and a cold sandwich.) There were only about 6 people in the dining room and one at the bar so no real reason as to why everything took so long. We also noticed that the employees would leave the dining room/ bar for at least 15 minutes at a time. I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant or bar that has ever been left unattended for that long. The food was "okay." My husband said the wings were good but some were a little too crispy and not enough sauce, my avocado club was okay and onion rings were room temp. I feel like it would have been so much better had it come out of the kitchen faster. It was over an hour and a half total from the time we got there to when we left. For a sandwich and wings that was a little ridiculous.
Judging by the service and cleanliness I don't think my husband and I...
Read moreI've been a member of LaCita Restaurant for over two years now and it's seen it's share of ups and downs. The new manager, Mario, has taken this from a place to go because we like the pool and people to a real destination.
They have regular events for members and the public, Karaoke, DJ's, 70's, 80's, 90's nights, movie nights on the golf course and in the pool (watching Jaws at night on a pool float is awesome) and many more.
The food, however, is where I'm incredibly pleased to see a turn around. If you've been to LaCita in the past, you've probably experienced extreme wait times and been frustrated with a staff that wasn't present and didn't really do the work.
All of that has changed.
The new staff, the new management, and the menu are awesome and it's an incredibly great place to go and eat. They have lunch specials, build your own burgers and awesome club sandwiches. Service is great, staff is friendly, clean and attentive and the food comes out promptly and correct.
If you go to LaCita Restaurant for lunch or dinner, you wont be disappointed. Stay for the pool, get a grilled burger and an ice cold margarita and enjoy some Florida sun.

Read moreThey hire inexperienced kids who have no idea how they be professional. They train each other. They can’t keep staff because they don’t earn much & their hours get cut. They often close early. This restaurant is like after thought. It’s just an old grill of course with like a snack jar. Unpredictable hours and service. Food is good but a bit pricey. The Great Outdoors, Blue Heron restaurant and bar in Titusville, off Cheney Hwy., is a much nicer, friendlier alternative. It’s open to the public and has lower prices and better service. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner and Happy Hour and...
