The food is great. So much so that I drive out of my way to stop here.
But be sure to call ahead, to check that they are going to be open and don't rely on what's posted, either online or at the shop: I've been caught out. And today, another couple arrived just as I was leaving, and were also surprised.
To the owner: Totally get that it can be hard to staff. Lots of local small businesses face the same challenges. I left a review though, as it wasn't a one-off and I felt others should be aware, so that they weren't also disappointed. The good news is that if it was just average pasta, it wouldn't matter. But it's not! (Maybe have someone stick a note on the door too if you can.)

Read moreFor those of you who haven't tried fresh pasta, you should and LITL Rhody Pasta is the place to buy it! I use full sheets of pasta to make lasagna as it doesn't require pre- cooking which saves time and less dishes to clean. Steve, the owner always has a variety of pasta flavors, sweet red pepper, garlic herb, plain, etc and it can be cut to your desire: linguini,fettuccine, angel hair, etc. The shop also has some prepared items for those who just want to heat and eat some great pasta dish! Read moreI never miss a chance to experience any fresh pasta they have at the farmers markets!!! Unmatched freshness, and the best raviolis I’ve ever had. So many Ravioli options too! My favorites are the smoked mozzarella and basil, and the habanero and cheese. (makes a wonderful gift!) I got to meet Chef Alex, the brains and brawn behind the operation. He was polite, knowledgeable and friendly, always taking time to say hi and let me know what genius creation will be coming out of the kitchen next....
