My 8 year old son loves loves loves your small cheeseburgers. I have to buy him one everyday. But I only gave you 3 stars because I had to wait over 20 minutes in drive-thru for this one item. I actually would have been there longer if I didn't drive around the car in front of me and go inside to pay for my burger. When I left the car in front of me was still sitting at the window. Also, every car in the drive-thru lane turned their engines off in order to save gas and not over-heat their cars. The sad part was when I went inside 3 or 4 workers were just standing there talking. I feel that if they helped each other and worked as a team and not just focused on their individual section, then service could have been faster. Also, they could have asked the car holding up the line to drive forward in order to expedite service. If my son didn't love DQ's cheeseburgers so much, I would have left and gone to a faster restaurant. Therefore, I would give 5+ stars for the food, taste, temperature, quality and price of the food, but I will only give 3 (maybe less) stars for the service....
Read moreOur wait here was about 15 mins. It was around 7pm that evening. I thought the wait was for fresh food. That wasn't the case. There was a customer in front of us and one car behind us. I'm not sure about the lobby but the parking lot was full. We ordered the 6 piece Chicken Basket with gravy. The chicken was warm but the fries were cold. The toast seemed stale. The gravy was good. Let's go back to the chicken. They were very tiny pieces. We don't eat at DQ much but have eat in Hiawassee, Clayton, Cornelia, Clarksville, Gainesville, Buford and Dahlonega. By far Toccoa was not any where near the top of that list. It isn't likely that we will eat here again. Also, most Dairy Queens offer 2 of the small bowls of gravy if ordering the larger basket. Just in case there are gravy lovers out there. This store...
Read moreThe staff was great, but I received raw food. I ordered a brownie a la mode, a small butterfinger blizzard, and 2 chicken strips. Upon biting into the chicken, I thought that I'd bitten into a fatty piece, but I soon realized that it was raw. I pulled over to wash my mouth out (in fear of getting sick) and took the following picture. This stuff happens and I get that, but I will hope that this message will help others in the future.
I received a message first thing the following morning from management apologizing for the issue. The manager was polite and very sympathetic to my issue. They offered to make amends with me and were very easy to work with. People today do not want to work in one place too long, so I understand training issues. DQ of Toccoa handled this well and I appreciate their...
