Quality Foods — Local services in Toccoa

This is my go to place for meat in town. It's fresh and I think it's great that they try to utilize local produce from farmers around the surrounding counties. Sometimes you'll notice signs that the produce is coming from a particular county or area, so it's great to support the community. The cuts of meat are consistent, fresh, and clean. You can also always ask the butchers to cut the meat a certain way (thicker steaks, particular cut styles, or even the whole loin of a meat).

They also do a great job at moving the shopping lines as quickly as possible. Out of all my years shopping there, I don't remember a time where I ever had to wait for a significant portion of time to get through the line.

Their sales are also really competitive compared to Ingles and Walmart. It is important to note that their steaks are USDA Select, while Ingles and Walmart are a grade higher (USDA Choice), but you can still get some really nice and inexpensive cuts of steak at Quality Food. I think the veggies here are much more fresh compared to the Toccoa Ingles, so we will typically buy vegetables here or at Walmart. Overall, a great place to buy...

Great place to do your Grocery Shopping. I've shopped there for years. But...... I've had issues lately where items will be on sale, which is Wonderful, and there will be plenty of that item(or so I think it's that item), same size, at that sale sign. But I get to the register, pay, get to the car and look at my receipt and see I paid $6 more for that bag of potatoes that a whole pallet was stocked in the wrong area. Or paid $2 more for the Ice Cream, $1.50 more for the cleaner, and so forth... It's becoming a problem everytime I go shop there. If it doesn't get better soon, I'll have to find somewhere else to shop. I don't have time to make sure everytime I pick up an item if it's in the right place, the right price, right...

Normally I would be leaving a good review. But today I can't. Because of covid wic will not send my daughter the booklet to go with her vouchers. And they had been excepting them for 3 months without the booklet. Now today they say different. Just how to they think we're gonna get the baby's formula?! We have called wic and asked for the booklet but they say they can't. I called quality today and spoke to one girl claiming to be the manager. Then mid conversation she puts yet another girl on the phone claiming to be a manager. Apparently everyone there is a manager. I understand u have rules but when it comes to certain things rules are made to be broken. U need to check signature, use her license, it has her name and...
