Went for a friend's birthday dinner. Waited 2 hours for simple breakfast food. We had other plans. Food was not great and barely warm. Then the guy the staff called the kinda manager(nathan) was eating in the kitchen in view of customers over the line. Then after touching by his mouth with no gloves carried plates to tables. Our one friend never got her pancakes until everyone was done. Then he discounted me and one other person but no one else after all the issues and weight time. Then never gave any of us menus that said anything about a gratuity. Until after we all ate. No one was trying to get anything free. We came to have a great time for a birthday. I was a restaurant manager for 25 years. 15 at one place. I know what you shouldn't be doing. Then after he ate all over the line he sat at the bar and ate. All while guests waited hours for food. I understand needing a snack but as a manager you dont have a meal while the ship sinks. Then after I recorded him. He tried to back peddle in the corner and blame it on the staff. I told him as the leader the see his bad habits and that's why they are eating while cooking. And that he's the leader and he should be teaching them then. I definitely wouldn't let Nathan be a manager until he has some training. Even the servers said he does unsanitary things. He also said he was going to do this and that to make it right and one Bill became even higher. We were going to pay for all our alcohol and definitely didn't want a hand out but he definitely did not know how to handle the situation correctly. I think with proper training and the right attitude Nathan...
Read moreWish I could give 0 stars. I used to like this bar, decent food, not a half bad place but wow what horrific staff. I walk in earlier this year in attempts to watch a game get some food and drink what you would expect. However after walking halfway to an open barstool I was finally stopped by a man who was sitting near the door that did not even look like a staff member, eating somthing, asking for me to present an id. I had recently lost my wallet along with my license but I have a U.S. passport card which in many cases is more valid identification than a state license. The man who passed himself as a bouncer proceeded to examine the card with a strange confusion and than rejected the card simply stating "I don't know what this is; if you dont have a license you dont drink". I was apauled by this complete ignorant disregard of recognition of a valid form of identification which clearly stated I am of legal drinking age. I attempted to appeal to the bartender for a second opinion but much to my dismay the bartender upheld the so-called bouncers blind decision and even told me i was lucky he didnt confiscate the passport card. I actually enjoyed the place before that night but that kind of disrespect can't go unnoticed. Will never return, will and have told many to not go, I advise if you like friendly staff and fair treatment...
Read moreWe visited on a Friday evening and ordered a burger and fries, the Rasta Philly, along with cider, beer, and a Bloody Mary.
Service was a mixed bag. The initial bartender seemed confused when I asked about canned cider, handing me a tap list instead. We ended up using our phones to order (note: cell service and the restaurant's WiFi were unreliable). He also offered a taster of the beer of the month, but the pour was all foam, which he acknowledged. Thankfully, another bartender stepped in to efficiently finish our order. My Bloody Mary was delayed, with the first bartender claiming he didn't make it because I had asked for the tap list. Despite this confusion, the drinks and food were good.
However, the cook's behavior was unprofessional. She slammed a to-go order and receipt on the counter, creating an awkward atmosphere. Other patrons noticed and commented on her attitude.
Overall, the food and drinks were enjoyable, but the service was inconsistent. The second bartender was great, but the initial experience and the cook's attitude detracted...
