Terrible service and FOOD POISONING.
Placed order of 2 medium pizzas at 7:32 p.m. Was told they would be ready in 10-15 minutes. Arrived at 7:50, and was told theyād be ready in just 10 more minutes. The workers are dancing and not in much of a rush. I pay and go back to my car. A little frustrating, but not a huge deal. My dilemma was that we were swinging by to grab pizza on the way home from the pet store, so I had live fish in the car I needed to get home to get them in the tank asap. Not the workers fault, whatever. At 8:00 pm I go back in, to which they tell me the pizza is not yet even in the oven and itāll be 15-20 more minutes. I wish they would have told me that before I paid and when I first arrived, since the pizza was not actually yet made. I would have just canceled the order. At this point, Iāve already paid and I really have to get my fish home. I drive all the way home for my husband to take care of the fish, and then come back out alone (which, I donāt love being out past dark as a woman in this townā¦). Whatever, I donāt even want the pizza at this point but Iāve gone through all this trouble. I arrive again at 8:25 and finally watch my pizzas come out. When I walk in, the girl looks me up and down, says nothing, rolls her eyes at me, and literally shoves me the two pizzas. I was dumbfounded. I said nothing and left.
And? The pizza is absolutely horrible. Dry and burnt. Whatever. At this point I donāt care. We eat it because weāre hungry.
I wouldnāt have even made this post if not for two hours laterā my husband and I start experiencing pretty harsh symptoms of food poisoning. Starting with cramping and progressively getting worse. Iāll spare the details. So⦠thatās what weāre up dealing with now. I think this has been the worst food experience Iāve had anywhere, ever. Assuming nothing was done to my pizzas, a lot of people likely got sick tonight due to what I can only imagine are unsanitary kitchen conditions. I donāt know what else would have made us sick like this.
All that to say, weāve only ever had positive experiences at the J-Cups on N. Detroit. Guess if we ever have the stomachs for pizza again, thatāll be the better bet.
Please...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEverything was fine until we opened the wings for my daughter's dinner. There was nothing and I mean nothing to them. We called and stated we were not happy about them. These were our daughter's dinner but there was nothing for her to eat. We took pics next to the ranch cup for reference. It was ridiculous. The kid stated basically, āit is what it isāon the phone there was nothing he could do, he doesn't set the prices. My daughter said she was not eating them because there was nothing there and they were burnt. I took them to the store to show them and ask for my money back. The kid took my receipt and threw it in the garbage. I said this is how your going to play here and he said yes it was. I just wanted my money back for an item that was NOT even close to the menu picture. He said he provided a service and I had...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would give them a zero if I could. Craziest pizza sauce I have ever tasted in my life. Not in a good way. Price's have gone up, while the quality of the food has gone down. They're constantly claiming to have not changed their recipes, which is partially true. In actuality they have sped up their dough making. Sometimes you'll get good dough, sometimes you'll get a gooey mess. They don't have an "Hours of operation" sign on their door. They won't give you the one topping pizza at the special price, unless you ask for it. Oh, and if you're wondering on their paint scheme....it's not the Italian flag !!! It's actually Bulgaria !!! Nothing like Bulgaria pizza !!! If you like the sauce......here is the recipe : 2 #10 cans "Marinara from Gordon's. Plus 8oz of "Sweet Baby Rays...
