10/10 First of all I, like many others have driven by this Los Agaves thinking "oh man i need to try that place". Well today i finally stopped in and i'm so blessed I did. From their social media i thought it would be an order at a counter and take out but it's a full service sit down restaurant with a bar. The menu is gigantic and I'm not good making a decision with a ton of options so i just skipped to the lunch menu. My goto at mexican restaurants is typically chimichanga but i wanted something more authentic and outside my set ways so i "settled" on the Enchrladas Pablanas cause the description said molé so i had to have it. I had to let the camera eat first but omg once i had my first bite i kept saying to myself "you can't be bl&&ping serious". It was so fraking good i heard Keith Lee say "i'm show you're right". The second bite i added some sour cream and lettuce to my bite and get outta here it was incredible. I had one of the best lunches i've ever had for $10.05 ($15.05 w tip) fresh made chips and salas too! Get outta here. The molé was IMO a fusion of japanese teriyaki and mexican molé a little sweet and savory. spectacular job chef!

I've been a fan of Los Agaves food truck for sometimes Especially the Barria pizza and carnitas tacos. Excited to try thier new actual restaurant. The menu is large with something for everyone, even a picky eater will find something. I chose two items. The ceviche tostada, which was a perfect starter for me although it's listed as an entree. Very flavorful, with a hint of heat along with the citrus. Would order this again . I would suggest a larger offering in a bowl it would go great with the complimentary chips they bring to the table. My main dish was the ribs eye burrito. This came smothered in creamy queso, with guacamole, pico, and pickled onions on the side. The plentiful steak in the burrito was tender, juicy, with just the right char. The guacamole added to the awesome flavor. It wad big enough to fill me up halfway through but I persevered and finished it. My daughter enjoyed her dish as well but I can't recall what chicken selection it was. I'll be back again for sure to try more. It's close to home and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. This place is going to gave to expand once Toledo gets wind of how great the food is.

I'm sitting waiting on my food that is done and sitting in the kitchen. The server is too distracted and not paying attention. When he finally goes to get it, I tell him that I'm upset because he took so long. He gets mad at me, saying he's dealing with family issues. He went on and on talking to me about how he's got these problems. This gentleman should not be working today. If there is something awful going on, then the restaurant should be closed today if no one else can work for this man. I was made to feel that I shouldn't expect anything from him because of what he's going through and that I needed to get off his case. I lost my appetite and didn't enjoy my food.

I enjoy supporting local and I am giving a honest review. Please understand that everyone's dining experience is different and that is okay. I tried Los Agaves for the first time at a fair and remembered the tacos being great!! On our way to another local mexican restaurant for date night my husband and I noticed the restaurant was now open. So we walked in where we were greeted with stares. Very uncomfortable feeling. We get seated right away and our waiter came over promptly. Speed of service was excellent, however they were not very busy at the time. It was about 7:30 pm. While sitting at our booth I had time to look around and check out cleanliness. I am a housekeeper, that is my job. There is the normal food on the floor which is to be expected, but you could tell that our table was not cleaned properly nor the floors under our booth. I could see actual dirt. My husband ordered steak fajitas and said they were great. Strawberry margarita on the rocks and that was great. I ordered the combo where you pick two so I got 2 chicken tacos, rice and beans. Queso cheese dip on the side. My meal was a disaster starting with the chips. They tasted like they sit all day, very stale. Tacos I asked for chicken tacos on corn tortillas. I got a hard taco something similar to Taco Bell. Flavor of the chicken was tasty, but I could not get past the shell. I was really disappointed because I love my corn tortillas, you know the ones that are homemade, fried in a pan of grease? The rice was decent and beans weren't anything spectacular. Salsa was good and had flavor. Queso cheese dip is my favorite part of the Mexican experience and mine sat on the table. I never waste queso. We ended up calling the waiter back over for the bill because he never came back to check on us. He gave us our bill and then we walked back over to the counter after waiting a few more minutes to pay. Waiter never came back to the table. I paid my bill which was $62.17 and still tipped 22%. I noticed that there is a cash total and card total. So if you are paying by card expect a convenience fee added to your bill. I had to have mine corrected because my husband never received his jalapenos and he was charged for them. I see great reviews here so maybe this was just one of those bad experiences or poor selection of food. But I still encourage you to support local and...
