OmG is the 1st thing that comes to mind...I was coming from my dentist & I went right past it & I was like "that says subs...is it open?" I turned around parked & went inside. Atmosphere looks very cool if u wanted to sit, get on ur laptop ect. Even has charging ports. BUT THE FOOD!! Ihad no clue what to order so I got a sub with roastbeef...then the lady asked me had I been there b4 I told her no n she proceeds to tell me what's a good seller ect. I got the "happy goat", n when i tell u that sandwich was 🤌🏾 whoever thought to use goat cheese AMAZING. It had turkey, homemade bread &some type of sauce with a type of marinated red onions & spinach i believe. I also had a rose lemonade (and was told if I didn't like it I could exchange it for just the lemonade) but I couldn't drink yet (dentist 🙄🤣) but it was okay (it was not made from them so it dosent count 😂) then I just asked a question about what the cookies were (choc.chip) n she gave me 1 for free to try n when I ate this cookie OMG!! So soft & chewy! I wanted to go back & get some more (mad I only got 1 and also wanted another sub) mind u I live about 30+ mins from this place but if they were not closing I promise I would have went back!! The 2 beautiful ladies who were working were sooo nice and helpful & didnt rush me n answered my dumb q's. When I tell u I have never heard of this place n have been in toledo almost all my life is sad!! I have been telling eb now! i have been back a few times since...just they are usually closed when I can go! DEFINITELY RECCOMMEND (sry for paragraph but it's THAT good and staff are that 😎cool!) Trust me ur missing out if u don't try and if u live in Toledo it'll be ur go to sub place after 2 bites..way better than all those other "sub shops"!! Only negative is it took me this long to...
Read moreI've been coming to the Sub Shop for several years now and have yet to have a bad experience with their food or staff. The staff here believe fully in the golden rule and I always leave with a smile. Seriously this place is a gem.
The food though... Oh the food! I seldom say this but I can't find enough good words to describe their offerings. I thoroughly love the happy goat (pressed), clumsy goat (pressed), peppercorn cheese sauce on basically any sub, fresh baked cookies, and soups. My partner has tried nearly every goat on the menu sans sassy and and angry and says everything is excellent.
There's no seafood at this facility, though keep in mind baked goods may contain nuts. Just ask and the staff will help you steer clear of anything you need to avoid.
Check this place out! They open at 11am so it's perfect timing to hit the farmers market and follow it up...
Read moreI had been wanting to visit this place for a long time just because of all the lovely plants in the window. Partner and I bought subs to go which we took on a hiking picnic. It did take a little while to receive the food but it doesn’t really matter because it was so good. They were the best subs we have ever had by far! They were packed with meat and everything else, and the bread was phenomenal! The prices are also great. I do love the interior of the building, it is very unique. The guy who was working that day was very friendly and kind.
The ONLY negative I have is when my partner was eating his angry goat sub, he bit on something so hard he thought he broke his tooth. It appeared to be a piece of dried seasoning or pepper or something, so hard it was inedible. He really could have...
