The Onyx Cafe — Restaurant in Toledo

This is a real gem!

I'm in town for a day to get away and my hobby is local coffee shops. I feel a deep appreciation for a shop with great service, but so to it must have a unique and exceptional coffee. Exceptional as in: Black, no cream or sugar. I give their house blend a high regard.

Air roasted, aromatic, smooth, flavorful, no foul after taste or sour off-putting notes. Truly a welcome find for me because coffee is a relaxer and a mood booster for me.

The service was also excellent. Greeted upon entry, all questions answered, the witty banter was a welcome energy as well. My mood was brighter and my day lighter when I left.

All in all, an excellent place and one I look forward to...

We were visiting Toledo for the day and I stopped here to work. I got a raspberry white chocolate mocha and my wife got a peppermint tea. Both were 10/10 😍!! Our barista Karina made delicious drinks and gave us with the best service ever! Street parking. Strong WiFi connection with tables to work or a whole section to chill. We will definitely be back the next time...

This place is honestly slept on, it's a great little cafe with some of the best drinks available in Toledo. Whenever I try new places I use Onyx Cafe as a scale on whether it compares or not. Truthfully i don't go here as often as I should. But in my pursuit to seek the best beverages in Toledo, I've yet to see a place whip up a dirty chai that compares...
