Huron Street Studios — Attraction in Toledo

Gathered is not only a place when you can purchase hand blown art glass where you can watch the artists work, but it is also a place where you can blow glass and learn about the process. It is a really cool experience; we visited as a work Christmas party and made our own blown glass pints, had one of the artists show us how they also engaged in printed art like lithography and letter press, and we had our caricatures done. Absolutely amazing experience! We did the "date night" for my husbands birthday and it was awesome. We wanted to have a memorable experience that was different than the normal going out for dinner and this was definitely it! It was great to watch the professionals, KP & Ryan did a great job talking us through everything and encouraged questions, and then guided us through our first time making pieces of our own. What a wonderful date night experience! The Artists are personable, detailed, and phenomenal creators, sharing their skills. Watching them create a piece of our choice and colors was a magical moment we will always treasure. To be able to create pieces of our own, we had an opportunity to walk a moment in the Artists shoes and truly experience the effort it takes to coax a form of molten glass into a delicate masterpiece.
