Superior Family Restaurant Dino's — Restaurant in Tomah

Service was terrible. Went in and sat for at least 10 minutes before waitress came to table. When she came she was very rude. We ordered our drinks. Ask for just a little ice in husband tea and she bring a glass full of ice. She took our orders sat cups down and walked off. He drank it. We ask for a refill for his tea but to pour out half the ice. Instead they brought it back again full of ice. So I ask nicely could we get it with less ice. She rudely takes cup off our table brings back with still a lot of ice but less than before and sits it down and proceeds to tell us we only get one refill. By this point we didn't even want to eat. Wanted to pay for the soup and drinks and leave. Instead my husband and I decided we would take our meals to go. She never once came back to our table to see if maybe I would like a refill, since I had not gotten one and had a empty glass. She would walk past us and make faces while smiling at her other guest. Then while we are Waiting to pay for our to go order she walks up and starts speaking another Language obviously about us as all 3 of them look up at us as well as the lady checking out in front of me. The gentleman who rang us out was super nice but both the hostess and the waitress both need a job where they don't work with people directly. We them got home and the meatloaf was awful and the ribs looked like trash thrown in a box. I would not recommend anyone to go here. I wasted $26 on food that went...

Dino, his family, and wait staff are all great! The cooks do a fantastic job with good presentation of the food and a good variety of specials.

I always get large portions and the prices are comparable with other restaurants; the advantage for the customer is the large portions.

Every table is kept sanitized according to Covid-19 requirements and seating allows for correct spacing. Great atmosphere!

It's a place where you can get a bottomless cup of coffee and enjoy conversations with passer-bys.

I recommend the Superior Family Restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal, large portions, and friendly employees!!!

Wait staff is efficient and attentive, but not friendly and welcoming. While ordering a taco salad, I asked for extra salsa. The waitress informed me there would be an extra charge for extra salsa. I also ordered fried mushrooms. My mom also had a salad and soup. The mushrooms were overcooked, although the two largest mushrooms were cold inside. Yuck. The taco salad was the worst taco salad I've ever had. No flavor. I asked if I could have jalapenos. The waitress informed me there would be another charge! When my mom went to hand the the waitress her credit card for payment, she rudely answered that she needed to pay at the counter! Not a good experience for us. The place itself is roomy. The staff appears to adhere to all safety recommendations. It is clean....
