Taphouse Twenty is a hidden gem that punches well above its weight in every category—beer, food, and service. Let’s start with the beer list: it’s impressively curated, offering a rotating selection of local craft favorites alongside hard-to-find regional brews. Whether you’re into crisp lagers, juicy IPAs, or bold stouts, there’s something here to satisfy every palate. The staff knows their taps well and is happy to recommend something based on your taste—which made trying something new a breeze. The food is far more than just bar bites. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. The burgers were juicy and perfectly cooked, the wings had the right balance of crisp and sauce, and even the appetizers felt elevated. It’s gastropub-quality fare without the inflated prices. What really brought it all together, though, was the bar service. The bartenders were friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming—creating a laid-back atmosphere that made us want to stay for “just one more.” They kept drinks full, the conversation going, and managed the whole space with ease and energy. If you’re looking for a go-to spot for craft beer, great food, and stellar service, Taphouse Twenty delivers on all fronts. We’ll definitely be back!

I walked in and wasn't really greeted. I had to them both of the host and hostess. I was there for a doordash. The male looked stone out of his mind. He walked slowly back to the kitchen. Comes back about 2 minutes later, saying the food would be a while longer. Okay. I waited for another 7 minutes before he brought the 3 orders of fries out to me. Mind you, it wasn't busy at all. The girl didn't acknowledge me at all. The smell when you walk in the door stinks like pot. Not pleasant at all. Rather disgusting 🫣. Once the fries were brought out to me, I asked, "This is really 3 orders? It feels light, and the males replied i guess so." I left feeling belittled. And like their phones were more important then customer service.

The salmon was excellent, and the flavor was delicious. The Mac and cheese was extremely cheesy 🤤 I need to admit that us the first time tgatI enjoyed mac and cheese from a restaurant. The meat was good. Unfortunately, I requested medium, and the server brought me a well-done steak. Due to the short amount of time that I had, I wasn't able to return the steak, hopefully, next time that I visit and try another meat is cooked the way that I like it. Regarding the personnel, they were very friendly, and the ambiance of the location is good.

I gave this Ground round a Zero star because this is what it deserves. Not even worth a one star. To begin, we came to this location approximately 7:00 on a Saturday night in the Dining room. There were only 3 other active tables, all of which had already been served. Our waitress gave us less than 15 seconds to order drinks/appetizers before she Rudely turned and left and was very rushed. When she returned with only one of our drinks, we proceeded to ask a question about a drink and an item on the menu, which she did not have an answer for either. Our other drink took 5 trips to our table after ordered before the drink arrived. We ordered our food, both Sirloin Tips. and when our plates arrived , the first was "Caribbean tips". All of the vegtAbles (onion and green pepper and pineapple )were supposed to be caramelized. What arrived was no where near. Instead there was 3/4 of a raw onion, sliced on my plate, tips spewed about atop the onion pile, topped with a single ring of pineapple on the tips. This plate was sent back. The 2nd plate, ordered as Medium whiskey peppercorn sirloin tips, arrived with just the tips, garlic bread and side, no sauce. When we cut into the tips, the meat was slimey, squishy/ soft and RAW. Intact the meat was oozing, covered in, dripping blood. Cold meat. It's unfortunate we did not have a meat thermometer handy to see just how cold these tips were. We sent this plate back, after having spoke to the manager, who gave a disapproving look with attitude. We choose not to reorder any meal for the raw tips. We were not offered compensation other than the raw tips being removed off the bill. After the first plate was less than 1/2 gone, the waitress returned to the table on 3 separate accounts physically removing the plate from me with fork in hand. Finally we had enough and decided to pay up and leave. Save your time, save your money. Do not go to Ground Round #groundround absolutely appalling and disgusting in service and quality to say the least. Do not eat here! I hope my wife does not have...

Update @ TapHouse Twenty 5/16/22:

Nothing much has changed. Still a mediocre place to eat. I had the "Wisco Burger" today, took one bite and sent it back and decided I'd rather go hungry. The beer cheese was undercooked to the point where it wasn't even melting over the burger. It tasted like a semi-melted glob of cool Velveeta. The bun wasn't warm and it was on the verge of stale. Not the worst food I've been served anywhere but also not worth the price. Reminded me of a burger you would make yourself the day after your cookout and you're still hungover, but you're too hungover to put effort into it so you microwave it for more than 30 seconds. Only after you sit down in your chair do you realize the cheese isn't even hot but you're too lazy to get up again and fix it. What I'm trying to say is it's edible but you wouldn't pay for it if you hadn't had 'the real thing' the day before.

I should note that after sending it back and making note to the server it wasn't good I did NOT ask for anything else. I guess it would've been nice to have been asked if I want something else, a reheat, or a comp but I guess "pretend it didn't happen" is standard practice. I've worked food service most my life so I realize things happen. I'm not even upset about it, just seems like poor customer service and the fact it wasn't even addressed means it IS standard practice.

OG Review when it was Ground Round: This place has it's ups and downs. I've waited two hours for food once and when it finally arrived, the "Tuscan Seafood Pasta" was without any seafood and the waiter failed to mention it beforehand.

In my opinion I wouldn't go here for much unless it's beer or a burger. Overpriced dinner food but a good atmosphere in the bar area with plenty of...

We had a group of 4 that visited on Saturday 9/26. My daughter and I were the first to arrive and ordered a drink which arrived promptly. We ordered an appetizer as well. Our third guest arrived about 20 minutes later and ordered a drink. At this time we still didn't have our appetizer and our waitress never came back to check on us and let us know why there was a delay with the food. It started sprinkling outside so we moved to the inside dining area and asked the waitress where the appetizer was. I also asked her what was going on with the staff. It was mildly busy but definitely not swamped and several people seemed to be standing around doing nothing while others were scrambling. Approx 20 more minutes passed and still no appetizer and no daquiri. The bartender was doing absolutely nothing. Our 4th guest arrived and ordered a diet coke. Several more minutes passed; no diet coke no daquiri. We approached the bartender and asked her if the POS system was working, thinking maybe the drink tickets weren't flowing through the system. She picked the ticket up, rolled her eyes and made the drinks. So at this time we'd been in the place for almost an hour with minimal attention and very poor service. Our waitress knew we were frustrated and she did apologize but it didn't seem there was anything she could do. She did point out the owner to us but all she seemed interested in was a group of people that appeared to be her friends. We finally got our food and it was ok. We paid our bills and just when we were leaving a pleasant employee - Molly - stopped by our table and apologized and gave us each a drink token and asked that we come back. Because of her I may return and give this place another shot but...
