ALDI — Local services in Tomah

I’ve been to this Aldi’s twice, and I’m not sure why all the positive reviews. The selection isn’t great, but it does well in a pinch. I had the unfortunate pleasure of having my food checked out by the most condescending employee. She rolled her eyes when I was having trouble with my bag, she talked to me like I was a child and she, the irritated mother, while she told me I didn’t need to enter my PIN number. Well excuse me for assuming this, especially since every other place requires a PIN. I was surprised at the gruffness in which she put my groceries in the cart. Which brings me to my next point—don’t try and take her cart!! I thought since she was throwing my stuff in the cart, that meant I could take the cart. No! When tried to leave, she yanked on the cart and said nothing. Most normal people would have said, “oh, excuse me....we actually keep the carts here for our employees since we don’t use bags and our store sucks”.

I will never go back to Aldi’s thanks to one employee with a severe stick...

They are open a bit early after remodel this past month all I can say is I love what they have done with the place a larger selection more coolers etc. It is now not just Aldi it is Aldi Food Market. Way better in general much brighter in the store totally different atmosphere. The only thing I miss is the large easy to read price tags hanging from the ceiling. But not worth losing a star over. The service is quick and easy and the prices are rather low. I will warn you need to bring a quarter for your cart and you need to buy your grocery bag at the cost of 10 cents but to be honest the bags are so heavy duty you could carry a watermelon in them and they wouldn't rip. Many people purchase a set of bags and just bring them back to the store or grab the empty boxes at the store to put...

Very, n Super very awesome place I spent less than 100 dollars n came out with lots of goodies o wow I'm coming back again very clean place to shop A 1 in my books. I've been checking out other stores as well n seem to find out that this is about the cheapest place to buy food. I know with today's prices are crazy in some stores n one thing I found out I love the well stocked store. all kinds of goodies and I'm a sweet eater not very fussy for that so the best way I can help you is yeah gotta check it out.
