Bearded Fox Brewing Co. — Restaurant in Tomball

I'm actually surprised they lasted this long. It's not that the beer was bad or anything, I think they actually had great beers. Unfortunately, 37 of us did a Beer Bus Tour a few years back and all the owner did was complain how much he hates the beer busses. Now, he get paid for the beers we drink and just about everyone was buying beer to go in the tall cans Bearded Fox was able to seal. Yet, while he was swiping credit cards left and right, he still complained. All 37 of us were locals, none of us ever went back (well I did a few times to see if the attitude was better). If he knew that these people were serious beer drinkers and all lived 10 minutes away, he would probably would have had a better attitude. That said, do to his bad attitude, we always told people to stay away. I did stop in a few times after and he always had a negative attitude. He was nice to me, but his complaining about customers could always be heard.

That said, according to the news, there is a new owner now. Hopefully he can turn this place around. I would love to change the review rating. But this post won't last, because the original owner always had it taken down.

Over all though, the beers were great. Fingers crossed on the new owner.

Update Dec 2023... Definitely a place to go now! New owner has a much better attitude and the beers are amazing! ...

My husband and I have been here a few times as patrons and loved it every time. It’s always a welcoming, fun atmosphere with excellent beer selection. We decided to have our rehearsal dinner here before our wedding, and Bearded Fox did NOT disappoint. They set up the tables and chairs for us, made sure we had everything we needed, were always a text away if we had any questions, and were just an absolute breeze to work with. It was a great event. Not only that, but our alcohol provider for the wedding told us VERY last minute that they couldn’t get the craft beer we’d selected. Well in comes the Bearded Fox! The day before the wedding, they agreed to provide two kegs and deliver them to Conroe on a Sunday. Both kegs were empty by the end of the wedding, the wedding coordinator was very impressed by the Bearded Fox employees, the guests raved about the beers, and the bartender said the beers were the best he’d served in a long time. The bearded fox is now one of my favorite secret hangouts when I just want to get away have really good beer and catch a game or meet some new friends. It’s best in the back of a plaza so parking is a little limited but I’m sure depending on the time you can get to park in front of the other business if they are closed, now back to the amazing beer it is delicious and hasn’t disappointed. The staff is super friendly knowledgeable and will try to help you with picking out the right beer. I haven’t had any of the food there but I just love the atmosphere the bearded fox has that makes the whole experience and you know the beer was brewed with love.
