Long review alert : Me and my mom were on a search for gas after Hurricane Beryl. We were so sick of fast food and my mom noticed this place on our way back to Spring. So we stopped in and we were greeted by Ashley. I believe that was her name. You could tell she was working hard but she told us what she had and was baking at the moment. We had a sausage and cheese kolache and it had pepper jack cheese I think. I’ve NEVER had anything so fluffy and comforting lol. She offered a variety of flavors including non breakfast choices. She explained how she had to toss everything from the power outage so she was limited but she served us with so much love and true hospitality.. me and my mom are still talking about the experience. So many people were there charging devices and getting work done. This may be corny but this cute little cafe gave us life. This cafe is what Houston is all about. And to the lady who let me borrow her charger , thank you sis. 50...
Read moreThe KOLACHE KAFE caught my attention a few months back. I was intrigued and stopped to ask what exactly is a "gourmet" kolache. I enjoyed a nice conversation with the owner, BUT everything was sold out by the time I walked into the shop. Now, I know why ! ...

Read moreKolache Kafe deserves all the praise! The kolaches are hands-down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly soft, warm, and filled with delicious, fresh ingredients. I personally liked both their raspberry and their brisket kolaches.
Ashley puts her heart and soul into her food but also remembers and gets to know customers. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has a cozy, cheerful vibe that makes you want to come back again and again. You can really tell they care about quality and their customers. Everything tastes homemade with love.
