We have always loved Tejas Burger for the old town burger and nachos, those have always been incredible. The burger is the perfect take on the classic American cheeseburger. Every bite is filled with the perfect amount of flavor with hits of nostalgia that make it more than just a simple burger, they have nailed it with that. The nachos are just short of heaven that words cannot describe appropriately. With the fresh pico, melted white cheese, and chili or ground beef, your taste buds will explode from the perfect combo of flavors with each bite that you take. Now Tejas has done it again with introducing smoked chicken wings. I have only had the dry rub, but they have absolutely crushed it. The crispy crunch of the seasoned skin on the outside met by the juicy chicken on the inside is the perfect combination of flavor and texture that is expected with dry rub chicken wings. I will be back soon to try the buffalo flavor, but I can’t imagine that it will disappoint. I highly recommend Tejas, you really can’t go wrong with anything that they sell. The menu isn’t huge, but they absolutely have nailed every item that they put on it....

Just had a terrible experience from this place. The service was awful, I had money stolen from me.

They charged me for a side item, and not only didn't get it, but I was told they would get me my side item (fries). Only to be ignored and passed over for others to get their orders and fries without a problem. 40 mins with just a burger and a bottle water.

They had no issues getting fries out to other people. Saw at least 10 orders with fries. They chose to not give me mine.

Maybe it's my fault for being patient and not trying to make a scene, but I left. They stole my money and they did a great job at doing it apparently. Unfortunately I had no time or energy to deal with it.

I just now know, not to go to this place again. The burgers are way smaller than they use to be, and apparently they cost $17 now, without fries or a drink. So I would say get a receipt at all times and check it before you sit down. I think they need to learn to improve their service and especially be better communicators. This would have either avwe me time, frustration, and more importantly a few dollars I rather have well...

Don’t bother. The website doesn’t tell what comes with every burger so I called and asked about the smokehouse burger. I said, “okay I’d like to order two of those with…” and was told (by Amanda) “you can go to the website and order online.” Seemed rude but I said okay. No option via website to add extra cheese or pickles so I wrote that in the special instructions. I arrived and when my turn came up in line, I received a blank stare. Without a greeting, I told them I had an order for my name and then the two at the counter continued to talk to each other while I waited for them to tell me what was up with my order. Someone else went to grab it and handed it to me; again without any words said. I left and when I got home, no pickles, no extra cheese, only one burger with caramelized onions (it supposed to come with caramelized onions). Anyone can get a burger anywhere. We go to places like this for the food AND the service and experience (regardless of dine-in/take-out). I feel dumb for leaving a tip online....

Such a cute litte gritty place! We've been wanting to try this place for a very long time, and the burgers did NOT disappoint! Patties are smoked on the grill to give you that backyard, smokey flavor! WARNING! If you don't know, smoked burgers are PINK so they appear like they're undercooked. I'm a well-done kind of gal, and the patty was firm and cooked through. We got the Smokehouse which is a 1/2lb burger (enough to feed 2 people), and the Patty Melt (enough to feed 2-4 people). Patty Melt was HUGE 😱 We also got the tots, which were CRISPY!!! Also, loved the sauce on the burger and the butter pickles 😉 Price? About $20+/person, and well worth it! Overall, great place to grab a burger if you're looking for something with a great smokey flavor!

Tejas Burger Joint is a delightful spot for a casual dinner! My husband and I stopped by on our way home and were impressed with the recommendations from the staff. We tried the smokehouse burger and the old town burger, both of which were bursting with flavor. The food arrived quickly, within 10 minutes, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The fries and onion rings were fresh and perfectly cooked, not overly fried, which made them a great side. Additionally, parking was easy with plenty of spots available across the street, and it made for a nice little stroll across Main Street to get to the restaurant. Overall, Tejas Burger Joint is a fantastic choice if you’re in the mood for delicious burgers!

First time here. We went to their BBQ place last week and heard of their burger joint. My wife and I shared the old timer burger with fries, okra and two drinks. They were busy but found a seat quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful. The drinks are self serve as well as the add on (pickles, pickled onions, fresh pickles and other burger fixings). The food came out quickly. It was hot and fresh and smelled good. The burger was well cooked and juicy with a really tasty sauce on it. The fries needed more salt but were good otherwise. The okra was fresh, light and not greasy...very good. Another guest, who was a regular, suggested we try the smoked burger. I am sure we will be back again.
