Brasas BBQ — Restaurant in Toms River

Went into this place just based off the fact that I didn’t know the area well and I quickly searched for food near me and found this place and only quickly looked at the menu and decided to try it. I’m very glad I did because this place is great! Very nice guy at the counter, not sure if he was the owner or not but very friendly. I got the steak sandwich and fries, and it’s always a good sign when they ask you how you want your steak cooked when you’re ordering it in sandwich form. Very very delicious, it’s definitely marinated and then there’s some kind of sauce they slather on, it’s the best around by miles. My only criticism is I wish they’d trim off the fat and gristle before serving, but that alone would not stop me from ordering it again (which I will be). Can’t wait to try their...

Wife started teasing me... You take me to the most beautiful places. A strip mall restaurant... Not even a view.... I said, the ones that I took you too before had good food. She replied, yes !! Well, Brasas bbq didn't disappoint... Food is great... Got the steak plater and the mixed picadinho. WOW !!! Just a couple disappointments. Beware, if eating at establishment, only 6 tables and your eating off paper plates and I was really looking forward to having ribs for lunch, they ran out of ribs.......

Leaving a five star because the food and price is unbeatable this is definitely a hidden gem in Toms River. If you are in the area I definitely recommend stopping in and ordering. There is just one thing I am a regular and I always ask for the potatoes extra crispy and it just seems like they only do it when they want. I hope that changes because that is the only request I make every single time and if it continues my business will have to...
