Mae and I dine in at Tang Dynasty around twice/month, the restaurant is always very clean and tables with fresh white table cloths, the service provided by the owners and son is the best as they show true appreciation and respect to diners. The menu is excellent and the food truly is very authentic and delicious, last night 08.24.25 I had the Hot and Sour Soup followed by Chicken with Cashew Nuts accompanied with Brown Rice, we had a couple of Shrimp Rolls for the table and Mae ordered Shrimp in Lobster Sauce with Brown Rice and Tina ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken with Brown Rice, all the food was delicious. On the table was complementary Crispy Noodles and Duck Sauce along with a pot of Chinese Tea and at the end of the meal we were given complimentary Pineapple and Cherries, Authentic Dine-in Chinese Restaurants are rare now with everywhere being Take-out or Delivery so it's very important that restaurants like Tang Dynasty are supported by the TR community. It is my understanding Tang Dynasty will be closed from Aug 26 thru Sept 24, 2025 for remodeling, we informed the owner that we will be back on Sept 26, 2025 for another delicious and very reasonably priced dinner, it should be noted that this restaurant is a BYOB so that is also a nice incentive to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe crispy noodles at the beginning of the meal were nice. We liked the duck sauce, but we asked for hot mustard, and that was watery and a little bitter.
My husband ordered steamed dumplings, but they came out fried.
The General Tso's was underwhelming. My husband asked for extra spicy, but it wasn't spicy at all. There weren't even any Tsen Tsien peppers in it.
I ordered the Chicken and Cashews. At first bite, I got the hit of salt from the soy sauce and it was good, but it turned out that was the only flavor of the unthickened sauce. There were only about 5 Cashews in it as well.
As for the fried rice, it was mooshy and lacking flavor as well.
I also happened to glance over at the sushi chef when I heard the microwave beeping. I'm not sure what he was heating up. Maybe the rice? Then saw him smell the fish before putting it on the plate. That kind of sleeved me out a bit.
All in all, I don't think we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible!!!! Server did not understand English AT ALL. He tried but just kept repeating certain words. They kept bringing food out without taking any used dirty dishes off the table. Dirty dishes where on other tables long after people had left. Luckily there was a counter behind us at the old unused sushi bar (were the glass was SO DIRTY) that we were able to put our dirty dishes on & even that was getting full with nowhere to put them (there were 4 of us). There were chinese decor lanterns hanging over the unused sushi bar that were FILTHY & had so much dust on them that they were disgusting to look at. I find it hard to believe the Board of Health lets them operate. They had noodles on unused tables which were probably from who knows when. We had the beef sticks as an appetizer & they were TERRIBLE, no flavor at all. Will...
