Just not good - it’s like a tropical version of subway

I really wanted to like this place but it’s just has nothing good.

FOOD - the quality was bad. The base of the bowl tasted like the supermarket frozen bowls and was icey. The fruit was definitely NOT FRESH fruit it was out of a jar and there was barely any granola. The smoothie was trash.

MENU - the menu is also not good because the prices of the smoothies and bowls are the same as Frutta/Playa bowls but yet there bowl is way smaller. Information on the website doesn’t even match the information in the store.

SERVICE - the service was not good. Every time I went the employees just had no clue even about what was in some of the items on the menu. Definitely not good with any kind of modifications or changes because it all...

I have been meaning to stop in for some time, and just have not been able to get over to check this new spot out. My daughter’s school had a fundraiser collaboration with tropical smoothie cafe so we went over to support the school and a local business. Let me tell you they were packed, and I figured the wait would be long and food would be okay. Wow was I wrong!!! Service was incredibly fast, and the wrap I ordered was amazingly delicious. The jerk chicken wrap was a real flavor bomb! I will definitely be back for that wrap, and look to trying something new next time. I believe this is a fairly new Tropical Smoothie Cafe location and you can tell that the owners really care about the quality of food and service. I made a few modifications to the bowl and smoothie that I ordered and they both came out just how I wanted. I paid cash and used my reward. None of it was a problem. The other employees (owner?) were quick to help the new girl on the register in a kind and patient way. Just a good vibe all around in this place. Google has it marked that there's a drive-thru but it's in the middle of a strip mall so that's not accurate. I believe they will bring your order out to you...
