Wasabi Japanese Sushi & Cuisine — Restaurant in Toms River

I came here and had the most rude Miserble waitress ever, girl had a vacant look in her eyes like it was her first time stepping foot into this world. Our food took hours to come and it wasn’t even coming out all at once. EACH PERSON GOT THEIR FOOD TWENTY MINUTES APART. It was freezing, the meat was a scary texture to the point it was inedible. The waitress literally asked what we got 40 different times. Two girls didn’t even get their food!!!! No water for at-least 2 hours. This was insane!!!! No hate to the manager but wow the waitress just absolutely awful. I hate to complain but it was truly a terrible...

My fiance and I decided to go here on a whim after we discovered that Lobster Dock's wait would be 90 minutes... it's a close walk to where we live when we are down the shore. We sat on their front deck and felt a nice breeze. Their menu was pretty extensive. Rude customers though (and would've picked a different table next time as to not be near other people as they exit), but the staff was kind and helpful. We got hibachi dishes and sushi. Delicious sushi! Great service and atmosphere. This was a great pick for our family meal. Plenty of choices, and everyone loved all that they ordered. The sashimi was fresh, the soups were tasty, the sushi special rolls were sooo good. (Next time we want to order the sushi boat lol.) We ate as a family, but it would also be good for a date night or as an adult group. Easy street parking right on rt 35.
