Fumosa Brothers Bakery — Restaurant in Toms River

After a long wait to order a scrambled egg, sausage and cheese sandwich, the cost was $10.04 plus tax which differed from the $9.75 posted. Then I took out cash and it became $9.75 plus tax - but nobody told you there was a 3% surcharge automatically for credit.and there’s no sign saying it. I then waited 25 minutes, along with several others. I finally got my sandwich. When I got home to eat it, it was a fried egg - not scrambled. If I wait 25 min for a sandwich, I at least want it to be what I ordered. Formosa continues to over-extend itself. They either need more help or they need to stop cutting cold cuts at peak times which slows the kitchen. They also need a third register to ring people faster. We used to go there 2-3 times a month for breakfast sandwiches but we stopped going because they kept screwing up the orders. 2 years later, they haven’t changed. Might not go back for...

Not a bad lil place in Ortley. It seems we go later and later every year to close up our house in Ocean Beach, and it is so hard to find businesses that are open after the main season. First timers to Fumosa Brothers Bakery but it wont be the last. Prices and quality were very good, and the volume of stock on the shelves was also acceptable for being October. I truly enjoyed the toasted almond horn. You must include one of these per person in your group for morning coffee or after dinner dessert. Sorry I wanted to trythe canoli but we already bought some from the supermarket. I will return! I will buy more than I need! And I will update my findings on the Canoli next time. I bet it's...

The best bakery on the Island!!! BUT bad business ethic. I ordered on Sunday a pie for Thanksgiving. Picked it up without opening the box. Why would I??? Open box after dinner (4 people so looking forward to coconut custard pie} and low and behold it's Pumpkin!! The disappointed on our faces made me feel bad. We ate half the pie. I returned to the bakery with the rest of the pie to explain that I was not mad but seriously disappointed. The owner offered me a danish. The previous owner would have made it right and given me a coconut custard pie then and there. Bad business in my opinion. Moral of story: open your order before you leave. As for myself.
