Abigail's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Topeka

I had to change my review to one star after tonight's experience 😔....I went there tonight. There was a Hispanic lady there yelling at this black man for using the wrong restroom (obviously an emergency) the white bartender with blond hair and glasses ( after telling my husband and sister in law that she dates a black man) told the woman to speak English. My daughter stood up for the Hispanic woman and was saying "how is she going to speak English when she doesn't know it?" With the bartender yelling that and my daughter sticking up for the woman, the woman didn't know for sure what was going on aside from being a smart@$$ and telling the man that he isn't a woman and this and that. I stood up and told her that she could of simply used the other restroom that had been vacant and it isn't a big deal since it was obviously an emergency. The Hispanic woman hit my daughter when I stood up and started going crazy. I went over to break it up. The Hispanic woman called me a N Lover and the bartender came out while the police were there and yelled that I'm a wanna be black. This is what goes on here. Some racist @$$ bs. We were home by 12:45 and the bar barely had any business when we got there so basically if they close they close. My experience at this bar tonight and every night I go is horrible. I simply go there to enjoy a night with my girlfriend and the other patrons are aggressive towards anybody new. They demand that they have their own pool tables and their own seats. They push past you in line and and staff do not care. I got bullied out of a pool table. I told the gentleman I'm in the middle of a game. He had a huge problem. I got kicked out of the building because I asked the gentleman. Why is it a problem that I play a game? The staff do not care about new patrons at all. Only the people that go there every night. This is wrong. All of our money creates this business and when we're segregated like that and no new business is welcome. This is ridiculous and I will never be visiting this establish again if I could give 0 stars I would they don't even put your drinks where you're at. This was my second time trying breakfast here. This time I opted for a standard over medium eggs, with bacon 🥓, sausage, hashbrowns, with a side of sausage gravy. I really didn't want to say anything since this was free and took a little while for it to get done. But as you can see the one sausage is pretty black. For my tastes the sausage and bacon had a nice flavor, but for me the bacon is a little salty ( I understand it's a personal taste). The hashbrowns were about perfect, nice and crispy. The gravy ad a nice flavor too. The eggs were done nicely except pretty crispy around the edges as you can see. The waitress/bartender was pleasant and was working by herself so at times when it got busy she was having try to be attentive to about 20 or so patrons.
