Today was the worst experience I have ever had with any Sonic. I usually have no problem ordering my chicken wraps. I am allergic to cheese so it's nice that I don't have to specify and double check that the wrap doesn't have cheese on it...WRONG. Today I went around 11:30, purchased two chicken wraps, and drove to Washburn for my classes. Low and behold one wrap was filled with cheese. No problem. Called up, said I was at school, woman on the phone said I could return with my receipt anytime today to get it fixed. She would be off at 4pm but she took my name down. I got out of class at 5:20, got to Sonic around 5:30, began to explain in the drivethru that my order earlier was incorrect, that I am allergic to cheese, that I woman took my name down and told me to bring my receipt. They would not fix it. They claimed no female managers were on duty earlier and leaving at 4, my name was not in the log book, and that I needed a promo code. Finally I said I will never be returning, pulled up to the window to show them the receipt, at which point they decided to call another manager to confirm whether I had been there earlier. I finally got my corrected wrap. This is ridiculous. It shouldn't have happened in the first place and the chaos to get it fixed was absurd. I worked fast food through high school and we ALWAYS logged down customer complaints and made SURE to help a customer EVEN if the log book didn't have something so long as the customer had their receipts. Read moreI was very disappointed with my service today. I had ordered the promotional items through the app as specified but, the discounts didn't apply. I know for sure that I didn't order the items listed for one time only throughout the promotional timeline but yet I was still charged full price for the Mocha Blast and the Garlic Bacon Butter Burger. Before I submitted my order, I had went and clarified that this wouldn't charge me full price for the items listed. The employee of that branch told me that she wasn't sure. I was very annoyed that they didn't know if something would charge or not considering she was a manager/supervisor. After making the purchase, the offer didn't apply so, I spoke with her face to face and she told me she couldn't out right refund but cancel the order and reorder without those items that didn't get rung up correctly. Read moreMy husband has dietary restrictions that could land him in the hospital, or worse. Known safe foods were ordered, but were made incorrectly. They took them back "remade it" and brought it out. It's a good thing we double checked because they decided to just scrape off the stuff that shouldn't have been on there in the first place leaving visible amounts. After we finally got a staff members attention and let them know the problem, we then had other staff walking by staring at us and giving dirty looks. I did not ask for new food, I was calm and kind about informing them, even going so far as to say that I didn't want to cause trouble but instead make them aware of what the kitchen staff is choosing to do as it could lead to a major lawsuit if they poison someone who specified dietary restrictions.
