Taco Tico — Restaurant in Topeka

The lady at the register was incredibly rude and rushed us while we were ordering. She spent the rest of her time on her phone and rushing other customers. She told us our number and sent us on our way. We waited 20 minutes for our food. 20 minutes as one of two sets of people in the entire building. The other couple that was there waited just as long as we did if not longer. When we finally did get our food, it was just tossed onto the tray and it wasn’t even all there. When we told the workers we had things missing they got an attitude with us and basically tossed our missing food at us and walked away.

It’s incredibly discouraging to see how far down hill this establishment has come. Waiting 20 minutes for a taco is wild to me. If it was busy I would completely understand but it wasn’t busy. It’s also pretty wild that zero people had any type of a uniform on but that’s neither here nor there.

All in all the food is fast food and should in theory be out fast. There’s no reason for a twenty minute wait for two sets...

I'm redoing my review on this Taco Tico location . I went there yesterday and had a very pleasant experience. Everyone seemed in a good mood from customers to the employees. I ordered the Taco Burger combo and added sour cream on my Taco Burger with an additional Taco Burger made the same way and as always they are super delicious and addictive. The combo came with a crispy Taco which I smothered in mild sauce and a Bean Toastada smothered in shredded cheese with lettuce and tomatoes which was also equally delicious. The employee who took my order was friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. The only thing I wish this Taco Tico would address is their somewhat wobbly tables. I love that they have Coke Products,( my mom loves their Cherry Coke Option), and the service is amazing even when they're busy. The taste of their beef in the Tacos, Taco Burgers and other items can't be beat. You have to give this place a try when in Topeka, Ks. I hope to make it to a Taco...

Good food. Bad management. When I had an issue and spoke to the manager and she proceeded to be very rude. Her name was Terry. I asked for a lot salsa because I had ordered two larger burritos and she refused to get me anymore. She only gave 4 half filled small cups. She said she's got going to because she had food to make, although when we watch them put the food together she had been standing and not do anything many times. I had to going into the store and get salsa myself because the they were too lazy to get it for me. Didn't care what I needed as a customer and proceeded to tell the rest of the kitchen what want what was going on. She also dropped a carton on the floor and put it back with the rest of the cartons to use again.
