Juice Stop — Restaurant in Topeka

I have been a frequent customer for years. I absolutely love the drinks and pretzels. It's sad that I will not be going back ever again and for such foolishness. There was once a very nice lady that ran this business. Always smiling and friendly. More recently there is another woman and I don't think I've ever seen her smile. She is always almost without personality and usually has somewhat of a snarl on her face. I recently introduced my partner to this business and of course she loves it. We both got punchcards to earn a free drink eventually. This same lady gave us our punch cards, punching each one once as we had both ordered drinks. Same purchase but different t customers. We have since went a few other times earning punches the same way in the same manner. Until a couple days ago when we went in, ordered, paid, and presented both our cards for a punch. She informed us she would only punch one per purchase and that's the policy and if that hasnt been how it has been then her staff is doing it wrong. I asked if she could move all the punches to one card then...she said she could take mine and punch my partners 1 additional time...which is honestly ridiculous. My partner asked her so if I just paid in 2 separate transactions then that makes a difference. To which the lady reply it would. We just took our cards back and waited for our food at that point.. the policy posted is actually 1 Punch per CUSTOMER not purchase. It was a really weird hill to die on. And maybe she doesn't care about losing a couple customers over a power trip. She certainly didn't act...

I treat myself to smoothies here periodically. A large is about $5 and a small is about $4. Lots of combinations to choose from. Staff is always friendly. I like the Caribbean Cooler and the Pina Colada ones. The coffee one is not very coffee-ish. They also sell several flavors of pretzels but I have never tried them. They have some health supplements and catering options. If you are super allergic to any of the fruits I would not risk it here. They are nice enough to clean everything and try to isolate the equipment they are using for your particular drink if you ask, but they don't have a way to completely keep from cross-contaminating all the ingredients. There are only a few spots to sit. It's more of an order and take it...

My family has an annual tradition of getting a smoothie and pretzel in the summertime, at least once due to busy schedules.

Last night, after my oldest got off work, we left our house to arrive at 6:30 at Juice Stop, knowing they don’t close until 7:00. My kids were so pumped to finally get their smoothie/pretzel combo after talking about all summer.

As my 10 year old went to order, however, we were told the pretzel machine had already been turned off….. at 6:30.

We were disappointed and confused as we thought the menu was available until 7:00.

Please let me know what time BEFORE closing that my family can come in to order pretzels before it gets shut off for the...
