Ordered on Grub Hub out of the all the food place choices to spend my money I chose this restaurant with a particular craving in mind. Isn’t that why we choose the restaurant we order from?! To get the food we want to eat. Sad to say The kitchen got my order wrong - I called right away and the manager wouldn’t resend me the items that were missing from my order that I paid over $30 for - they said they can’t replace orders placed on grub hub. So shame on you chicken maison - you want the additional money that having your business on grub hub brings you but you won’t take care of your customers that pay regular price plus a hearty delivery fee when you get the order wrong. You shouldn’t take advantage of regular customers that way. Especially since I eat here regularly. I have other options though. Not a happy lady. Don’t mess with women and PMS food cravings it doesn’t...
Read moreLove this place for certain items. I absolutely adore the half chicken or chicken kebabs with sides of jacket potatoe and hummus. Some things are really good once you know the menu. I also really enjoy the veggie variety when I'm trying to take a break from eating meat. Was slightly disappointed that they wouldn't substitute the potatoe salad for brown rice the other night because I'm a regular customer and have been going there to get a take out order almost every day for 4 weeks in a row. I will say the Falafel wrap definately needs some work too, it was small and is definately not enough for 1 person without sides, its lacking salad - a few pieces of lettuce makes it boring and bland. Throw some hummus in there and some onions or something. Hence why I've only given them 3 stars because I do think with a few slight changes they could improve their customer...
Read moreThis review is about the Torrance/Ocean Ave location. I've eaten here for years, and it's always been tasty... up until 2 months or so ago. The ingredients taste as though they've changed. The dressings, the rice, the cole slaw are all different. Not enough seasoning, and very mayonnaise-y. Even the chicken is less tender than it used to be. The portions and all components within salads in particular are smaller, which is understandable due to inflation and bIdeNOmics but I am really disappointed in how the flavors have disappeared since a few years ago. And, prices have increased dramatically. I'd rather there were fewer locations around and the quality came back. I'd drive to wherever the original flavors landed.
I'm wondering if this little chain has been sold? Hoping my last experience are flukes, and hoping the owners will take my...
