Food is great!!!! I gave it a 1 star on customer service and poor management in problem solving. I had placed an online order for pick up, when I arrived the place was busy, there was a line of about 6 people. I went to the front of the line and kindly excused myself to the other customers and told 1 of the 2 cashiers that I had placed an online order. Immediately one of them responded " you need to wait in line." As I looked at the line, I walked out as I had 2 of my children with me waiting in the car as I thought it be a quick grab n go process. I walked out to my car and called the restaurant to speak with a manager, I was placed on hold for 5 minutes, the manager Mckenzie asked what can she help me with and I asked why did I have to wait in line to pick up my order if my order was sitting on the counter and paid for? She responded that it is a small restaurant and they are extremely busy at the time and yes I had to wait in line. I questioned her so my food will be cold and soggy by the time I get to the front to pick it up? She responded, I'm not going to go there, I'll just give you your refund and that's it, well yeah at this point yeah I don't want to eat soggy fries or cold toast. I was fuming, my kids were hungry and I was so looking forward to our tenders. Disappointed in this experience that instead of the manager answering questions or putting herself in one's shoes she simply threw the white flag and used the easy way out of a situation, for the customer to shut up and get them out of their way. Being a business where it's busy, its not an excuse to disregard the customer abouts complains or concerns. High five to the cooks, the fingers...

I have to admit, depriving my body of the amazing food at Top Tenders. Just four hours ago, I found myself in the hospital, diagnosed with bronchitis. But as soon as I left, still in my pajamas, I made a beeline for this remarkable restaurant to satisfy my cravings for their mouthwatering chicken fries, refreshing lemonade, and mind-numbing Texas toast.

Oh, how I wish the pleasure could have lasted longer than the mere five minutes it took me to drive back to Long Beach! Each bite of their delectable chicken fries, paired with the tangy lemonade and perfectly toasted Texas toast, was like a blissful escape from reality.

After watching a TikTok video, my wife and I drove from Newport Beach up Pacific Coast Highway for some top tenders. The quality of the chicken is really good, the sauces aren’t half bad. I was anticipating this place to be a little bit better than it was based on how great, the TikTok creator talked this place up.

I will tell you that the service was excellent and the food was really good and what made this place even better for me is that it’s next-door to Chicken Maison and Chicken Maison as one of my favorite restaurants in the whole wide world. I then found out that both restaurant share the same owner and then I started to realize why the customer service was so good and why the quality of the chicken was so good.

If you want some really good grunge food that I highly recommend you give this place a chance. My wife and I both said that we would not mind driving back out here.
