A really delicious diner in old town Torrance. It’s located on a tree lined street and has many outdoor tables so this is the sort of place that is an easy option to sit outside or in. Today I brought my dog so the outdoor seating really came in handy. We were able to find a parking space right out front and there were a ton of other free parking spots next to us as well. Our server was really polite and fast and we were serviced immediately after sitting down. They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of diner classics, so it was hard to choose what I wanted this morning. Everything is very fair pricewise and the portions are also very hearty. I started off with a cup of coffee, per usual, and it was very tasty and strong. For my meal I chose the Marinated Steak and Eggs because I read a lot of positive reviews about it. I can confirm that it is indeed very good. The steak is very tender and seasoned well and comes in a very large sized portion. I was not a fan of the hashbrowns, as they are more of a potato cake , but aside from that everything else was really good. I would definitely recommend to anyone searching for a solid breakfast option in Torrance. I plan to be back in the future next time I am down in the area.

If you’re looking for a “greasy spoon” in Torrance, this is the spot! This diner is perfect for so many reasons. The space was designed through the years with Torrance in mind; you can always tell if a place is good when the wait staff knows all of the patrons that frequent the restaurant, and there were many! Service staff was so friendly and highly efficient. I ordered the Chili Verde Omelette and it was out of this world! The portion was huge and I couldn’t finish the whole thing, as much as I wanted to. The pork was succulent and the sauce was delicious… the home fries were really good and even better with the house salsa. I’m looking forward to the next time I’m in Torrance for work, just so I can go back!

My family and I had an amazing breakfast at Eat at Rudy’s! The service was friendly and fast—everyone made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We ordered the breakfast burrito, pancakes, and the country platter, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, the food came out hot and fresh, and the flavors were spot on. You can tell they really take pride in what they serve. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. Great food, great service, and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend Eat at Rudy’s for anyone looking for a true breakfast gem!

Worst experience of discrimination I have ever experienced! I went for the first time with a few friends. 2 friends are deaf 1 is hearing and I am hard of hearing. We use sign language to communicate. Our deaf friend had a question for the waitress (old very thin lady with short grey hair) my hearing friend said she would interpret. As she was signing and my friend was interrupting this waitress walked away from our table at least 4 different times!! She never once even acknowledged the presence of my deaf friend or that she was even trying to ask a question!! The question was simply if they had nutrition guide as she is a type 1 diabetic and needs to take meds so needs to know carb count!! She was very rude in her answer. We ordered our food and as she was asking my hearing friend what my deaf friend was ordering mind you never acknowledged her or looked at her when my hearing friend had to sign which bread she wanted the waitress just walked away again!! Finally got our order in and the food was fine but just put a bad vibe for me!! I will say the gentleman filling our coffees was great and really nice. I have never been around or seen a person treat someone so disrespectful as if they were not there and did not exist as this woman treated my deaf friend. Needless to say I definitely will never be back and will not recommend it to anyone!! Hopefully your management will teach some basic patience and etiquette to...

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! VERY RUDE!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! WE ORDERED A COUNTRY FRIED STEAK AND EGGS AND A CHORIZO AND SCRABBLE EGGS BREAKFAST THROUGH GRUBHUB . UNFORTUNATELY, THE RESTAURANT GOT THE ORDER WRONG..WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES BUT INSTEAD OF ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITY, THEY BLAMED THE DELIVERY DRIVER FOR PICKING UP THE WRONG ORDER. WHUCH WAS HIGHLY IMPROBABLE BECAUSE OUR OTHER ORDER WAS CORRECT. WE CALLED THE RESTAURANT TO EXPLAIN THE ISSUE AND FIND AN ACCEPTABLE RESOLUTION. THE GIRL WHIO ANSWERED THE PHONE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND TOLD US IT WAS THE DELIVERY DRIVERS FAULT AND IT HAPPENS ALL THR TIME. AFTER WE ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER, SHE ABRUPTLY HUNG UP ON US. ULTIMATELY, WE CONTACTED GRUBHUB, FILED A COMPLAINT AND WAS ISSUED A REFUND. I WORK IN A CUSTOMER SERVICE BASED PROFESSION AND KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO MAINTAIN A SENSE OF EMPATHY AND UNDERSTANDING WHEN DEALING WITH CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE THE ONE AT FAULT. DON’T DENIY THE FACT, JUST OWN UP TO IT AND MAKE IT RIGHT. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN HERE. THEREFORE I REFUSE TO GIVE EAT AT RUDY’s MY BUSINESS AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO...
