I don't eat meat not that much. Once in awhile I liked to eat good hamburger. I wanted to buy my dog a good hamburger for his reward. I decided to try "Good Guy Restaurant". My dog loves a hamburger. He is a picky eater so he only eats tasty foods. He can tell the hamburger is good hamburger. I walked inside of the restaurant. The place reminded an old-fashioned style hamburger restaurant. I looked at their menu. They have hamburger, hot dog, fries, sandwich & all kinds flavor of milkshakes. Counter person was attentive and very friendly . He took the time and explained about their menu. It was very interesting that they have menu called "Little hamburger". The size was not small, but it was smaller than regular size. I ordered grilled cheese sandwich and I ordered hamburger for my dog which was plain hamburger without a bun. They had all kinds of toppings for the hamburger. You choose your own toppings. They open 7 days weeks and they have dine-in, outdoor patio pick up & delivery services too. They had plenty of parking spaces and they had the Handy cap parking space. It is located at corner of Lomita Blvd & Hawthorne Blvd. Also they offered complimentary peanuts for the customers. I grabbed a bag of peanuts. I like their peanuts. They were tasty and not salty. Anyway, I got my order and my dog and I went outside. Grilled cheese sandwich was on a hamburger bun and it was so delicious and yummy tasty. It was the best grilled cheese. I wanted to see my dog's reaction of a hamburger. He smelled it first and he finished the hamburger in a minute. I can tell he really loved it. After he finished the hamburger, he was still licking the dish. I did not try the hamburger, but the hamburger patty looked fresh and juicy. I could tell it was made with fresh meat and not frozen meat. Five Guys restaurant 's specialty was the hamburger & I didn't try the hamburger, but I really enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich Also my dog enjoyed the tasty hamburger. Next time, I will try their specialty hamburger. I liked their great services and complementary of peanuts. Only thing is the price of their foods are little expensive than other places, but they make all foods ,from fresh ingredients. And you can have a hamburger with your own choices of toppings and free bag of peanuts too. If you like old-fashioned hamburger or grilled cheese sandwich I will recommend this "Five Guys...

We don’t have burgers a lot but when we do, we used to love this place. Why? Delicious double burgers with so many complimentary topping options! Free peanuts!
However, they didn’t do well in our visit today: We ordered 3 burgers, the order taker took down the orders correctly. Each burger was numbered with a tag. They switched the numbers between two of them, and we didn’t realize until we each took a bite. Luckily, we were in the family and didn’t bother us too much, but this is really not a mistake you’d want to make if there are serious allergies (eg mushrooms, etc) For the third order, we ordered A-1 sauce, the order taker noted it but we didn’t get it so we had to go back and ask for it again. All the burgers didn’t have any flavor (are we supposed to as for salt?), and we ended up requesting more A-1, and used it on all 3. The breads became soggy with the way condiments were placed. I think they used to be more thoughtful so this didn’t use to happen
All and all, we were a bit disappointed this time :( I hope they can take these comments as a challenge to improve as we used to love this place!

My Prior review from 2022
Great burger as always. I usually have a little bacon cheeseburger, the best thing is I get to pick all the toppings I like.
They are prompt and friendly. Masks are required but they don’t have the typical floor marking for 6-feet social distancing and people tends stand a little closer than normal.
During the pandemic, they don’t have dine in option and for some reason their nice outdoor dining is also closed! We bout some coffee next door and ate at the outdoor dining...
Read moreI love their beef patties and all the freshest topping ingredients!
Not sure which 'fast-food' restaurant has toppings like Grilled Mushrooms, Fresh-cut Jalapenos (not the picked Jalapenos), Green Peppers and so forth.
While I smell the 'old beef smell' at places like, Habit Burger, Carl's Jr., sometimes at Wendy's, I don't smell this at the Five Guys Burger; I see the fresh beef patties being cooked in the kitchen once after I place an order.
The Cajun Fries are the best! Try them! Always hot and fresh!
BTW if you like your burgers warm, you should goto places like In-N-Out or Shake Shack because of the fresh toppings you may feel that the burgers might feel 'cool' to the touch.
I like their hot dogs too, but I think the Cheeseburger (2 patties) is the best. You could try the Little Cheeseburger (1 patty) for the first time.
I just wish if they had Ranch.
Don't forget to try the peanuts while you wait for the food to cook. I used to think the peanuts were a bit salty, but they've gotten better!
They're a bit "pricey" but I think it's worth the price given its quality. Actually, it's a great value since you're getting the restaurant quality burger without having to wait (to be seated) and wait for the food at these other...
