Was craving a bagle sandwich but wasn't really close to my personal favorite so opted for this place since it was nearby. My honest opinion was it was overly priced for the lack of flavor and ingredients in my sandwich. I had never been so was unsure how to order but must admit your staff member was very polite and patient with me. Its could be I had high expectations for this place since the pricing was high? And in doing so was a bit more disappointed after eating.
A breakdown of what I went with was the all-nighter egg sandwich on a bacon jalapeño cheddar beagle. I'll be honest it smelled and looked delicious but biting into it was a wee bit tough and very heavy on the sauce. My sandwich was filling but also on the salty side which makes me come to the opinion I may not return. I did get the mango ice tea to compliment and sadly no amount of sugar could save me from the unpleasant after tast. Perhaps it was just an off day because my partner has raved about them but for myself they fell short.
If you plan on dining in they do not allow indoor seating and unfortunately at the time we arrived all outdoor limited spots were taken. It's a shared lot with other spaces and a lovely outdoor area so if you don't mind going a little out of the way you'll be able to find a nice spot to dine. As a person who's always looking for places that accommodates for ada needs this place does hold up. It's but fully ada and wheelchair accessibility with ample room for me to comfortably maneuver around in my wheelchair.
My overall takeaways is for my personal preference It's not for me, especially for the prices not matching the quality I had hoped to get. However this place isn't actually that bad I just wish they notify you indoor dining is not an option so dining may be limited if their outdoor seats are all occupied. Although it's not a winning spot for myself my partner enjoyed his food as always and would highly recommend. I say don't knock it until you try it...
Read moreAtrocious customer service here. It's a shame because there are not that many bagel spots around. The first person who took our order didn't seem to know what she was doing - she told my wife to pick which bagel she wanted for her sandwich but didn't specify whether or not it was necessary for my order. Okay fine, but...
Next, the cashier who assisted us at checkout got my wife's name wrong - so when they called out the name it was completely different, even when we had spelt it out for them. Not sure how someone can mess that up. Again, not that fussed -
but it was annoying when I corrected the name mispronunciation and the woman working behind the counter just laughed as she said "sorry". It was very insincere and unprofessional for a business establishment. When we asked her if she could please read the order to verify if it was ours - she had to ask another person who looked like a manager - and THEY didn't even know the order. The manager-looking worker said, and I quote "turkey cheddar or something".
I let all of that slide. Until we got our two sandwiches, and they were not hot at all. We hadn't even left out the door yet, so I asked one of the employees if they could please reheat our food. It was then that I could hear the woman (who laughed at us earlier) scolding the employee who took our cold orders; she said to them "don't do that again. We don't reheat food". So, if you don't reheat food (or make it fresh and hot to begin with), then what are we paying for? A cold sandwich that had browned avocado on the inside? Anybody can make a better breakfast sandwich at home, with fresh ingredients, whilst saving themselves a chunk of change along with the hassle of encountering inappropriate and flat-out rude business transactions.
Sadly, this order was my last at...
Read moreSecond time coming here hoping our experience would be better than our first. Not the case. First time we placed an online order for curbside pickup our order was missing an orange juice along with creamer and sugar for our coffee. I entered the establishment and asked for my missing items only to be advised by an employee who said she couldn't help as she was on her break. While making eye contact with several employees and attempting to get help, the employees turned away avoiding to help with my request. Finally an employee answering the phone helped me and apologized for the mistake. Today, my second time here and last time was a similar case. This time I didn't catch it until I got home. I was missing a chocolate milk, sugar for my coffee and the order was incorrect. Luckily I was at home and was able to use my own sugar and creamer and poured my own glass of chocolate milk for my son. Overall my experience has been poor. Some advice, hire a leader to help drive the boat, assist the employees with direction and PLEASE train employees on the basics in providing quality customer service. The only positive, the food was good but not enough to go through the fiasco for a couple sandwiches and coffee. In summary don't come here if your use to good customer service, Starbucks down the street will be a...
