Torrance Tavern — Restaurant in Torrance

Simply the best food in a sports bar I've had. The staff is all nice and they roam throughout the dining area. It's different to have every employee whom you meet ask if you are taken care of and if you need anything any employee can assist you. They don't seem like they have designated sections or any of that mess. It's a fun atmosphere and family-friendly. They have extra dining out back in a tented enclosed space. It's perfect for larger gatherings like birthdays or bringing the crew from work. My wife and I frequent this place and I highly recommend it. The buffalo chicken pasta is amazing and if you like pulled pork sandwiches theirs are very good. I think they have possibly the best Philly cheese steak sandwich there. I've lived all over the country and tried many things. My recommendations don't come from a strictly so cal perspective and I don't like mainstream places or follow fads. Having said that I want to really thank the crew at the tavern. They always take good care of us. Give the place a try it's well worth it. Oh and if you want to try something spectacular for dessert, they have a cheesecake in a jar that is mind-blowing! If you like to be in a place with a cozy feel you can watch a game and have great food and drinks - this is it! If you like a less crowded more personal experience just come before happy hour. It's nice to shoot the breeze with the employees and you can watch the change as the crowd filters in. I know grub hub delivers from here...

First things first the location is amazing as in where it’s located !! Very nice area parking is easy 1. Location:A+ ✅ Easy access it’s in a great peaceful area not much going on but traffic

Customer Service Customer service: A + ✅ the best they checked on me so many times and came fast with drinks and food!!! Amazing Sarah was great and some other guy

3.Now let’s talk food baby 🥘 ‼️‼️‼️‼️ Let’s start by saying the food was GREAT lol 😂 and I’m a fat guy at heart I’ll eat anything just make it look cute! The taste was great(ITS ONLY BAR FOOD DONT EXPECT A GOURMET MEAL ITS JUST BAR FOOD COOL BAR FOOD) Ingredient’s :B- ‼️‼️

4.Now last but not least the TOPPINGS 🏋🏽‍♀️🏋🏽‍♀️ Buffalo 🦬 wings: A + very good 😊 Mac and cheese 🧀:C- they tried I wouldn’t get it again Fries 🍟: B Drinks 🍺 ; A+ fast service

Torrance Tavern is clearly a Torrance staple, cause well, its in the name. I have come here more times than I can count and nothing has ever been disappointing. The service, selection of foods, and the really generously timed Happy Hour are all ways that Torrance Tavern has a portion of my heart.

Starting with the food, its typical tavern food, but they definitely do it well. I've had the burgers and fries, most of their appetizers, flatbreads, sandwiches, and a wide selection of their cocktails and drinks. Of the places I have been, their cocktails and beers are fairly priced, and its even better during Happy Hour. The drinks are always great, props to the bartender!

Service and seating is where it can get a bit iffy, and that is kind of why I knocked two stars off the Service only. Service, especially when its busy and the crowd gets wild if a game is on can be extremely inconsistent. I've been give the wrong items at times and there are periods where a server doesn't come by for a while, even when you just got seated and you are waiting for your order.
