When it first opened this place was great, couldn't say enough good things about it but it has kind of gone down in quality. So in a few cases when I have ordered empanadas there (fried pastry stuffed with ground beef) they have been sooo oily that I bit into one and the oil ran down my chin and hands. It ruined one of my shirts. Also ordered the fried plantains (I'm Hispanic and I know how to make fried plantains) they gave me what amounted to a box of hockey pucks, these things were so hard and dry that no one in my house could eat them without cutting their gums. My mom told me it's because someone has been re-frying the batches that don't sell the previous day. I don't know what happened but I am not getting food there anymore I wasted $45 on food I couldn't...

After waiting over 20 minute for my order and driving all the way back home I find the breaded steak I ordered was not only burnt but seemed processed like it was frozen pre breaded and they just recooked it with a burnt twist. I was super disappointed since I had been craving just that and to find it not a real PR dish. Rice and beans tasted funny. I wanted to take a day off from cooing cause I could easily make this at home but now I know I should have just done that. This is far from authentic Puerto Rican food and maybe I should have just gotten the pork but last time that was way to salty. My husband and I unfortunately will never...

Stopped here for a Cuban sandwich. I realize it's a Puerto Rican place but I thought they might do a close approximation. It tasted nothing like a Cuban sandwich to me. The bread was wrong, the cheese was wrong (should have been swiss, maybe provolone would be OK) and the balance of flavors was just off. It tasted mainly like a Puerto Rican style slow cooked pork sandwich. It had a lot of pork and wasn't a bad tasting sandwich but if you have a craving for a Cubano, this isn't going to satisfy it. The rest of their Puerto Rican food is probably good, I...
