When it first opened this place was great, couldn't say enough good things about it but it has kind of gone down in quality. So in a few cases when I have ordered empanadas there (fried pastry stuffed with ground beef) they have been sooo oily that I bit into one and the oil ran down my chin and hands. It ruined one of my shirts. Also ordered the fried plantains (I'm Hispanic and I know how to make fried plantains) they gave me what amounted to a box of hockey pucks, these things were so hard and dry that no one in my house could eat them without cutting their gums. The bread was wrong, the cheese was wrong (should have been swiss, maybe provolone would be OK) and the balance of flavors was just off. It tasted mainly like a Puerto Rican style slow cooked pork sandwich. It had a lot of pork and wasn't a bad tasting sandwich but if you have a craving for a Cubano, this isn't going to satisfy it. The rest of their Puerto Rican food is probably good, I...
