CJ's Doghouse Craft Beer and Wine Shop — Restaurant in Towamencin Township

At first you walk in it looks like a lovely welcoming place for about 2 seconds. I was never greeted or asked if I needed help finding anything even tho I walked by the owner going up the steps to there so called wine section. Instead of a can I help you I got a stare and silence. Once upstairs I walk into a very empty area with some wines and a very small selection. There was two as I’m looking around another owner was helping a customer with their selection. Once the customer made a choice they both decided to walk downstairs, still not asked if I needed help finding something or even a simple welcome. Finally I picked out my wine and head downstairs to checkout I greet the owner that was upstairs and you would think I would be greeted by this time nope in stead she grabs the wine and gives me the amount due. So I hand her my card and she slams it back to be on the counter in return. Feeling unwanted and very uncomfortable I sign the receipt grab my wine and going on my way trying to forget this horrible encounter. I personally will never return to his place ever in my life. I wish I could rate just the hot dogs..they are incredible. It's a shame because I won't be going back. The place is not friendly. I felt like because I was a new customer they didn't want me there. It was like it was some special club and i wasnt invited. I had to eveb ask if they make hot dogs because the owner seemed upset that he had toxleave his group of friends to go make our hot dogs. I felt uncomfortable the entire time I sat there to eat. It's funny cause my dad loves hot dogs so I'd love to take him to a joint that makes good hot dogs..get a beer and this place is the closest spot but I purposely will go out of my way to not go here. It's an amazing concept, just needs better...

Cj's is a great place for craft beer people. There is a large selection of bottles and maybe a dozen beers on draft. You can sit at one of the tables and order a draft beer or get a growler for take out. As mentioned, the bottle selection is large. You will find anything from some harder to get beers, to your standard ipa and stout. The employees are knowledgeable in beer and also friendly.
