Harrison Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Town/Village of Harrison

I originally posted a 2 line review but I feel like I must update it and give you a proper review. First lets start off about the amazing service from who I think is the owner who woks at the counter. He is always friendly, thankful and appreciative for my busniess Never once has he displayed a sense of maybe having a bad day. He always has a smile on his face and is extremely sociable, which goes a long way in my book. Now the food, let me say out of all the pizza spots in Harrison, they are my go to place cause they are constant with the product they put out every single time. I have never ordered anything and not have it taste bad or not have a great flavor. From the Pizza with is always cooked perfectly the way I want, to the numerous pasta dishes I have tried to the complete dinners everything is always spot on every single time. Their prices are good and actually even if they charged more I would pay because I never complain about the price of food as long as it tastes good and Harrison Pizza And Pasta tastes delicious no matter what. We "used to" order from them all the time. We have a little family member that has Celiac Disease (cannot eat gluten). There was a pizza party at the school today and we want to make sure our child isn't excluded from the rest of the children. Harrison Pizza and Pasta's minimum order for delivery is $13. A gluten free pie is $12.99. They refused to deliver to a single Gluten Free Pizza (to a Harrison address, even with a $1.50 delivery charge). We explained that we're (now former) repeat customers, living in Harrison and this is for a little child. The answer was no from Harrison Pizza and Pasta, over a penny... for a kid :(

We called Pizza 2000, explained the situation and they were happy to do this, especially for a child with a disease.

We make a habit of "shopping small" for local businesses to support our town/community. Harrison Pizza and Pasta is not about the community, they could care less, its just about the money, in this case... a penny.

We'll be getting our pizza from Pizza 2000 from now on. Shame on you Harrison...

I’m new in town, a friend of mine recommended this place and the food is good but the service is bad, we ordered few times for pick up and every time we arrive the order was not ready almost 40 minutes later. When I asked for my order more than three times the lady at the counter was very rude and told me I had to wait because they’re busy, it was only me and another person picking up and I had to wait at least 20 minutes for them to actually give me my food this happened so many times that the last time I had to leave and go somewhere else because if I’m not important to them as a customer here maybe I am somewhere else. Not sure if this a race thing because I’m hispanic or they just treat all their customers the same way, one thing I know is, this is a place I will...
