I decided to try this place. It took me 10 minutes to get there, a little bit longer than I would usually want to drive to pick up a pizza because it wouldn't be as hot once I got it home, so I planned on eating a few slices in the parking lot before I left. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot, and there was a bit of a line, a few people waiting outside, but it was a Saturday night. I ordered double cheese. Their caption on the box is "We don't cut corners." However, they missed two corners on my pizza. When I got home, discovered that there was no cheese on three of the pieces on the right, as you can see in the picture. This picture was taken the day after. It definitely did not seem like double cheese, and I couldn't understand why there was no cheese on three whole pieces. Pretty disappointing when you not only would like cheese( of course), but double. It seems like maybe it was set down crooked when it was hot, and maybe the cheese ran off of it and puddled on the rest of the pizza. It didn't seem like it because like I said, not a ton of cheese. Also, a little bit too much sauce for my taste. I was going to call and complain, but what is the use. I might try them again, but this time I would open up the box before I left. I keep forgetting to do that every time I get a pizza. Sometimes I get home to find the bottom of the pizza is burned, things like that. However, for them to make a new one or just put on some new cheese for me who knows, might have taken them forever. Aside from that, the flavor was good, but the cheese was a little bit chewy, kind of like the top was just a tad overcooked, and yet the crust was doughy, more like a roll than...
Read moreI would love to give five stars, but I seem to have the same issue when I order breadsticks. The food was good, especially the chicken hoagie; it was my first time trying it, but it was hot and delicious. The pizza and breadsticks were warm, but not hot like I like it. I live around the corner from Franco’s, so it should still be hot, but my son had to wait longer for the hoagie to be made while the other food was sitting around. We usually order the same thing; a medium pizza and large garlic breadsticks, with two extra sauces. We have ordered at least three times in a few weeks. Sometimes my son orders on his own. I always pay for two extra pizza sauces with my breadsticks, and it never fails that they only give me two altogether. I should have 3, since the breadsticks come with one sauce. I now check the box and have my son check the box, and sure enough, he had to ask for the extra sauce. I noticed the last time we ordered the container for the sauce was smaller, but this time it was back to it’s normal size. It’s over a $1 for an extra sauce; those containers shouldn’t be that small. I might just stop paying for the extra sauce and buy a jar from the grocery store, because that seems to be a lot for just a small container. My son loves pizza in general, so he buys a lot of pizza from Wegman’s, but in the past weeks he’s been craving Franco’s. I won’t give up on Franco’s just yet, especially since I have a new favorite, your chicken hoagie. The workers need to pay more attention to the extras added; this has happened too many times. Plus work on making sure everything stays hot. This is my first time ever leaving a review...
Read moreA couple of times my orders haven't been accurate. I had to wait a while to have them rectified. One time I even waited 30 minutes for the issue to be resolved. As recently as 6 days ago I had to wait 10 extra minutes for an item that I never received to be prepared and made fresh for me. I appreciate that they made the items fresh to rectify the error but I shouldn't have had to wait to 10 minutes at all. 1.) I paid extra for the items so they should Have been ready when my order was scheduled to be ready. 2.) I have an extremely busy schedule and waiting 10 minutes can throw off the multiple tasks I need to accomplish that day. Before I continue, let me add now that the staff is always been pleasant overall - sometimes apologetic for their errors and sometimes not. When Franco's sends you a text asking about your experience they request that you email them directly if your experience wasn't great. I've tried that and have never received a response. That is why I decided to finally update my Google review from five stars down to two. I try my best to give restaurants - and especially local restaurants - the benefit of the doubt. If they're not going to respond when you've had a negative experience and have taken the time to reach out to them directly instead of putting it on Google for everyone to see it leaves a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) because - once again, they've wasted my time. I also try my best to be the most honest and accurate Google guide that I can be so it would be disingenuous for me to leave a five-star review up when the number of negative experiences have...
