Update:: DISAPPOINTED!! THEY JUST HAD THEIR GRAND RE-OPENING celebration week. They were supposed to have raffled off gift baskets and beats headphones June 26, 28, 29, and 30th, but I’m almost 100% sure the EMPLOYEES or management kept all the prizes to themselves!
Shame on them for leading the customers to come into the store Each day and lead them to think they can have a shot at winning a prize!!
Winners were supposed to be announced at 9am as it stated on the flyer (picture shown) but when a few of us went to ask them about the winner at 9am each day they either “didn’t know anything” or they supposedly “picked a winner”. When we asked who it was, they also supposedly wasn’t “allowed to announce or let us know who it was”. This was the staff from the morning 9am of June 28th, and 30th!
Disgusting, on top of all the ghetto old employees attitudes. corporate should hear about ALL of this!! —————————————————————
One of the more ghetto/ratchet McDonald’s here in buffalo/Amherst. If your going to choose to come here it’s better to go in the daytime. That’s when they’re nicer. Or drive thru (if you have to come in the evening). The nighttime employees are more on the ratchet/rude side. They can also forget to add what you asked and paid for. Don’t forget to check for your sauce before you leave also.
Wish this place was better, & more assisting instead of rude as this is the closest McDonald’s to my home and it serves UB students and also a fraction of Amherst residents, not just...
Read more30 minute wait in the drivethru for a delivery pickup. Got the order, realized it was missing a McFlurry, so I went back and stood at the drive thru window and waited. When the kid materialized again I said “this is supposed to have a McFlurry.” THAT’s when he decided to tell me “we can’t do ice cream right now.”
My customer didn’t want the order without the McFlurry, especially after I told her the food was most definitely not going to be hot because it had been sitting for at least 30 minutes before I got it (I know this because initially I had gone up to the walk up window on the other side, but they locked it so that’s why I ended up in the drive-thru, and I could see the bag on the shelf). So I had to cancel it. So that was 40 minutes wasted on an order that I didn’t get paid for, 40 minutes of orders I couldn’t add to my route because I was tied up with this one, and a strike against my cancellation rate. I got a warning letter alleging fraud because the order was canceled after pickup. Did they really think I wanted to steal rubber McNuggets and cold fries? Excuse me, sir, that bag went straight into the trash. I would have been embarrassed to deliver that garbage to...
Read moreI normally don’t write bad reviews, but this experience really stood out. I went into this McDonald’s to pick up a DoorDash order and waited patiently at the counter. When I finally reached the girl working there (two braids down her sides), she greeted me with an attitude and snapped, “What you want?”
I told her I was there for a DoorDash, and she responded in a nasty tone, saying something like, “DoorDashes are over in the corner,” as if I didn’t know what I was doing. I’m a Platinum Dasher—I do this all the time. Turns out, there were no DoorDashes in the corner, and the order I needed was actually sitting behind the counter.
When she realized that, instead of apologizing, she doubled down with even more attitude and asked, “Who’s your DoorDash?” in a belligerent tone. I calmly told her, “Dorian,” and let her know she needed to stop talking to me like that.
She was also flirting with another employee while customers were waiting and gave attitude to someone else in line before me. Zero professionalism, zero respect for customers. This kind of behavior doesn’t belong behind a counter—definitely not the image McDonald’s should want representing...
