McDonald's — Restaurant in Town of Amherst

Absolutely appalling service. They refused to take orders at the register. Told everyone they had to use the kiosk. I don't mind the kiosk at all, but an older lady came in after me that didn't know how, so I helped her place her order through the kiosk, during which time they called my order. Instead of just leaving it on the counter they took it back. When I was done helping the lady I went to the counter to ask about my order. Very rudely she says well I called you 3 times. I explained I was helping someone place an order, she didn't care, she continued to run her mouth to the other employees in the back about how she had called my order 3 times. Instead of just saying thank you and giving me my food she chose to act a fool in front of everyone and try to make me look like the bad guy for helping one of HER CUSTOMERS that she should have been helping. Do yourself a favor and drive further down Sheridan towards Sweet Home. That McDonald's is phenomenal. And a word of advice to that lady employee at McDonald's, do better. Elderly customers don't know how to use the kiosk, so you can either post an employee out there to help people or open a register to take orders. It's 10:44 am I've been here since 950 waiting for a bacon egg and cheese mcgriddle. Never coming back to this McDonald's again it's a joke. Just drive to the next one It's been since July since I've been here last its now September 24th. Ordered a double cheeseburger and a happy meal. Took over half hour for them to give me a cold burger with fries and they forgot the happy meal. Asked them for my happy meal and about another 20 minutes goes by and now my foods ice cold and I still haven't received my happy meal. Now I don't want my food since it's ice cold. Since they ruined the entire experience for me I gave back the food and said dknt worry about my happy meal I just want a refund. Can you believe it took them over 20 minutes to get me my refund. Also the girl with the dreads and the bandana was very rude and unprofessional about the whole situation as well. When I asked for a refund and she laughed in my face and walked away. Do NOT come here if you want your food in a timely manner. Service is non-existent, there is nobody at the front counter to help, I assume to cut costs. Your only option is kiosk, drive through, or pick up. Kiosk is not maintained because the printer was out of paper for receipts at all kiosks.

I ordered from kiosk, order was never shown on screen. I waited 45 minutes and wasted my lunch break trying to get help and watching people who came after me walk out with their order.

The staff will drop off orders and ignore you. Good luck even getting a refund if your order is missed. They made eye contact with me and walked away multiple times. Staff looked annoyed at me for wanting help on my order that they missed. When someone finally acknowleded I exist they asked me for receipt, but nobody could even fill the paper roll for the kiosk.

I would not be surprised if someone spit in my food. It was cold when I got it anyways. Save yourself the headache and drive to the next nearest McDs or another chain, this place needs new staff...
