Do not order DoorDash from this store, your order WILL be wrong every time.
Tried to visit in person and twice in the last month, including last night (2/27/24), the store was locked during operational hours. I arrived at 9:20pm and the dining area was listed online AND on the doors as being open until 10pm(11pm on their website.) Previously, I'd tried to enter the store about a month ago at 11:30am and the store was still locked, despite being listed as opening at 7am on the doors, website, and Google. Both times the Drive-Thru was open and operational, the staff simply chose NOT to open the dining area.
It's bad enough that I have to check my order EVERY TIME before I leave because it's always wrong, even when the store isn't busy and I'm the only customer there, but the fact that you never know when the store is ACTUALLY open makes it frustrating and impossible to plan around getting food here.
You could hit the Drive-Thru, but since your order is most likely going to be WRONG, you'll have to either catch it before you drive around or do ANOTHER lap and wait in the Drive-thru line a SECOND time just to get your order correctly(since, chances are, the main entrance is locked and the store phone isn't working or isn't answered.)
Cheap and popular items and combos have been replaced with more expensive options and the quality overall for the food has diminished to the point that it's cheaper, healthier, and easier to buy the ingredients at Hannaford or Target and make them yourself for half or more of the cost. The time you waste trying to visit the locked-store or doing laps in the Drive-Thru makes up for the time you'd spend preparing your own tacos at home.
Honestly, just avoid this store, if possible. There's so many better fast food options in Amsterdam that are cheaper or have been quality food for the same price. The only redeeming quality is the staff are usually very polite and courteous, when they remember to, yknow, open the store for...
Read moreUPDATE Best experience I've had in the 20 years of living here. It's about time they got rid of all their awful employees!! I'm so happy I tried them again. My food was the best quality I've ever had there. The staff was helpful and quick. It made my day. Tyvm TB
I hate that this is the only taco bell around because there are a couple male mgrs that are big a##holes! My orders are 90% wrong & even when I "complain"/ ask for my meal to be as I asked for, they just laugh at me & say it is. I have even opened it up to show them that the "remake" is still incorrect (which by the way the mgr makes) & they laugh at me and say I'm wrong & there is sour cream in it when you can clearly see that they deliberately left it off once again to mess with me!! And they refuse to add more sour cream unless I want to pay for extra!! I have reported it numerous times, even to other Taco Bells. Nothing ever gets done about it. I love my Taco Bell & I live in the hicks. It is such an awful thing to have happen. Over & over, year after year, with no consequences to these two! I often wonder if they are spitting in my food or some other sort of disgusting thing. I wouldn't put it past them. Why you wonder do I even go back?! Well I just hope that they won't be there because where I live it is the closest & there aren't many choices for food. Besides shouldn't TACO BELL do something?!?! It's not like it's only once in a while, they do it all the time for more than 5 years now. I have never ever had so many issues/problems with ordering or getting what I ordered combined in 10 years+ than with this terribly managed/run Taco Bell. Hope your experience goes well. Good luck. Ps- Now I wonder if I should ever go back after my honest review for fear of retaliation. Guess we'll just...

After a very expensive weekend out last week I wanted to just go inexpensive and quick this Friday, and hey it's been 3+ years since I was last at a Taco Bell so I felt it was time to finally come back and see what's up.
What is up are the Cheesy Street Chalupas, Nacho Fries, Cinnabon Delights, Nacho Shell Crunchy Gordita, Limonada Freeze, and Cinnamon Twists. Some of these might have been around for a bit, but like I said, 3+ years since I was last ate here.
Total came to a little under $24, which compared to the $40-$50 meals I was partaking of last weekend, felt like a godsend for my wallet.
Back home with my dinner I found the fries to be somewhat lacking a super nacho flavor but the nacho cheese they dipped into made up for that, the street chalupas was smaller than anticipated but you get 2 per an order and they have a nice crunch along with the slow roasted chicken, and the Gordita was a little more flat than I recall but the nacho shell was pretty great an addition.
On the sweeter side the cinnamon twists were like if you combine air and cinnamon sugar, aka a whole lot of nothing. The cinnabon delights on the other hand were amazing with an unexpected cream cheese frosting filling, and the limonada drink was sweet, tangy, but melted so darn fast. Plus the "regular" size of the freeze was more like a "small", so if you're sharing it or are thirsty, go with the "large" version.
Overall I'd say my return to Taco Bell went rather well, my only complaint may be that everything feels so much smaller than I remember. Less fillings, thinner shells, that sorta thing. But the price was reasonable enough, so I can't...
