We've driven by several times but never had the chance to stop for ice cream. It always looked like a fun place to bring the kids, so when we had the chance, we stopped. We were glad to see delicious Perry's ice cream is served here. It took a very long time to get 4 ice creams and one banana split out. We decided to be the fun parents and order dinner after the ice cream. That took even longer. There were no other customers (on a Friday night) and 2 employees working. We were very surprised at how slowly everything came out, and the burger was charred and had no flavor. The curly fries were dry and not as exciting as curly fries we are used to. Also, a family-friendly place like this (with play equipment and mini golf) really should have hand sanitizer at the very least in the porta-potty. I got the last hand wipe they had at the window. There were 7 people in our party, and we couldn't wash our hands before eating and after playing. The employees were nice, but everything looked kind of run down (maybe it was the lack of excitement in the mini golf course, which was our view when eating). I asked if this was the sample size and the girl said idk then asked another girl and she said umm no thats a small. Next I got the small hard ice cream in a dish and it was filled over the top.
There was no consistency and there was no way I got what I paid for and should have been given a correct small amouny in a dish. But instead the girls behind the counter didn't care and just brushed my concern off and hid in the other room.
In my opinion the $22 I spent on ice cream was...

My 5 y.o. grandson is crazy about trains so, everytime they visit, we go on the train ride. This was our first time at Little Red Caboose. The kids loved eating in the caboose. The food was a little overpriced for my budget, but they only come once a year. We didn't have time to play mini golf, but the kids were...
