Young man behind counter at 7pm tonight...disrespectful and horrible customer svc.
My wife ordered a sunday and i their chocolate covered cherry twister. Hers fine but @10 spoonfulls into mine the chocolate pcs are cheap n waxy without flavor and barely any cherries. I couldnt finish it so i brought it back to him at the counter (and honestly i was polite) and said " i know its not you but i have to comment about this. Its chocoloate is cheap n waxy and hardly any cherries and i cant finish it. I left it on counter and sat back down with my wife while she finished. I didnt get rude or even ask for a refund. 2-3 minutes later the young man comes to our table side. We thought he was going to say sorry about the quality and offer a substitute or a refund. NOPE. He said instead " excuse me but youre going to have to throw that away. The counter isnt a garbage can ".
Wow.
Stunned and at a loss for words temporarily as he walked away i did say " no, you can throw it away"
@4 minutes later when my wife was done with hers and we got up to leave i walked back up to counter where the twister still was and told him " listen, i was being polite and only critiquing the twister but you are extremely rude and will address it." I walked out and as i was he was muttering something at me which lucky for him and my temperment i didnt respond.
Two questions remain: did his co-workers advise him to do all that? And does Kone King mgmt condone such customer svc with two other ice cream shops less than 5...

BUT after we had ordered our ice cream the person who I think was the manager for the day was extremely rude to their employees and it was a bad look!! That is defiantly not what I wanted my daughter to see there because she keeps saying when sheās old enough she wants to work there. I think the girl who made my ice cream was new and she did not deserve to be belittled by this manager. Defiantly telling all my friends and family not to go there because itās a toxic place for customers to see and hear the things that happen behind the counter and in front of guest. I would like to definitely see changes in managment for this location. I overheard one of the workers say her name and I think it was Mia and she was tall with light brown curly hair. I felt so bad for the girl behind the stand! I will definitely be doing a story on this location and how employees are being treated while they work here. SUPER SAD!!!!! This all went down on Friday the 11th of July...

After I paid, the employee (owner perhaps?) realized he didnāt have any individual sandwiches, but they had a few packaged six packs in the front freezer. One of the other employees went to open a bag to give us an individual one, and the man who took our order told her not to do that. He told us to order something else. He began to list other items for us. I asked why he couldnāt open the bag and give us one of the sandwiches. He said he wouldnāt. I was extremely disappointed that I couldnāt receive an item I ordered when they had it in the store. I will not be going back there nor will I recommend Kone King.
