The museum provided a glimpse of where affluent people lived and their work ethic to get there. The house and its contents provided a wonderful time capsule of what living at the time required (kitchen and bathroom in separate buildings from the house). It also showcased the ingenuity of the people being allowed to let their creative talents loose. Lastly, I want the recliner in the front room. The tour guides were friendly and...

Waited to visit during the very limited listed open hours to find the building locked. The signage was clear that “tours” were by reservation only. (We did not require a TOUR and if this was the only way to see the museum it was not clear from the website. If you are open you should be open). This was very disappointing to someone who traveled a great distance and who planned ahead and knows...
