Imperial Orchid — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

This place has gone downhill fast. When we moved to North Babylon 10 years ago, we were looking for a great Chinese restaurant, and thought we found it. It started last year the prices were going up and the amount of food was a lot less. They put so much vegetables and hardly any protein, whether it be beef, chicken, or shrimp. The last time we ordered from them, they forgot to put the chineae noodles for the soup in the bag. My husband had asked for them, and they insisted that they were in there. My husband had to take everything out of the bag only to prove that they didn't put any in the bag. The boneless bbq spareribs use to overfill the container but not any more. There was hardly any spare ribs in the container, especially being that it was for 2 people to share. My son loves their Pork LoMein and pork fried rice, but after this dinner, he no longer is a fan. He said that it had no flavor and tasted gross. They are very cheap with their noodles. They only give 1 bag of chinese noodles even though we always order a quart of soup, and when you ask for more, it's like pulling teeth. This was our go-to Chinese restaurant but no more. I'm so disappointed!!!! Don't eat here,...

an old customer here. this place hasn’t been the same since the old owner (jay)sold it. he was always so welcoming and understanding whenever we wanted something special or if an issue pops up.now the new owners are so rude towards the loyal customers, having to charge on house duck sauce and the fried noodles. it was never the case when jay was here. me and my family been ordering from for years and was very let down by the new owners. the place is filthy unlike before roaches being founded and their fish tank used to be maintained so well by jay. but most of all their customer service have drastically worsen, whenever i call to takeout the boy who works there every sat was so sweet to answer any questions me and my my family have now the girl on the phone talks in such a hurried manner i feel scared to ask. food mediocre at best for its price now. i get this is one of the only chinese restaurant in the area but i would rather not order from here. the people here does not appreciate you and is consistently rude. it’s best to find...

Went there for my brothers retirement party recently. The service was not not very good. I couldnt understand the waitress bc it was loud wth the ppl at the party. At one point she walked away! Bc she couldnt hear me??? There were 6 ppl at the table! My egg drop soup was really gross! Very thick, too thick! Like when you make pudding on the stove, that thick! And weird colored...like deep deep yellow orange. Gross. We ordered sodas and water..they came one at a time!! Lol! So stupid! My chicken and brocolli was salty...one more thing! They gave us an area in the dining rm to sit. They had placed the last table so close to the table next to it, u had to literally disrupt the ppl at the next table to get out and use the bathroom. Like sardines...the last time I sat like that was at Governors in levittown! That place gave u no room to move your seat back then. I wont be going back to this restaurant...
