Pastosa Ravioli — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

Love Pastosa. The ravioli, stuffed shells, and manicotti are delicious. The cutlets and sausages are great as well as are most prepared foods. I also love that they sell Boars Head cold cuts and at a better price than the deli or supermarkets. My only gripe about Pastosa is that the red sauce and prepared meatballs are aweful. Not even edible. So Pastosa is my top pick for Italian specialties but I will be making my own meatballs and sauce to go with the raviolis. How they mess up these two crucial items is beyond me. Still 5 stars for the rest of the store. Friendly folks in there as well. Seems like a nice family...

My bill came up to $17.74. Did not get a receipt but older guy behind the counter had a smirk on his face when I was leaving. Used my debit card to purchase. Something told me to check my bank account when I left and was charged $22.80. Verified with my bank if I was charged a processing fee. Even at 10% for using my debit card it wouldn’t come up to $5.00. No such fee. Called the store but he couldn’t give me a reason why I was charged $5.00 more . Was told to come back in but told him to keep it. Buyer beware, you get charged extra if you’re a darker shade of brown at this store. Get your receipt and check what...
