Jason Deli — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

Can’t say enough about this place! I was looking for deli that offered hot food and saw great reviews for here. Amazing how it’s nestled right next to a big laundromat but offers so much yummy goodness. Ordered a large portion which comes with all different kinds of rice as your base. Then so many dishes to choose from. My favorite was the beef stew. Big potato chunks in a gravy with tender morsels of meat. Not chewy or tough at all. Came back and got a simple chicken cutlet sandwich. It was huge! Nice lettuce and tomato with freshly fried cutlets. Everything is so fresh tasting. Finally stopped for breakfast and was not disappointed. Can’t recommend this location enough. Everyone is ready to help. Very patient and quick on their feet. Love the small friendly confines. Love this place! I usually get the rice and bean with stew chicken. However I went there yesterday because I hadn’t eaten all day and i wanted my 82 year old grandma to try them as well. I woke up at 4am needing to use the bathroom and it’s now 10am and I have been on the toilet back and forth every 10-30 mins. I can’t even sleep had to have someone run to cvs to get me something for my stomach. Then the worst part is I was hoping it was only me. My granny woke up at 8:30 and has been back and forth so I gave her meds too smh. I wish I didn’t get the food for her. She’s too old for this and it’s the only thing we ate in common. I will be throwing the rest of the food I was looking forward too away....

I stood in line with 9 people in front. Everyone place there order in front of me and In the process 5 more people come stand behind me. Had no problem being served. No 1 ask me ,can I take your order. They are unprofessional, I detected favoritism, I don't speak Spanish, salvadorian ect. The vibe was negative. Time to support ower own. This was not the first time. I never go into and establishment again when I don't feel comfortable. Poor characters. Overcooked food, temperature was not held at proper degree.
