So for starters I have to say this review is not about the food. The food is always better than good for a place that some would consider fast food which I dont agree with. Always made fresh and to order unlike the other sandwich chains that have presliced and premeasured mystery meat on the sandwich, this is sliced on a machine right in front of you. 5 stars is simply not enough. And I can see but other reviews that this is not a 1 hit wonder. This review is about the allstar staff they have at the Lindenhurst location. Of all the places I eat I have never seen a business that has 10-14 people working behind a counter and having smiles on their faces. And on top of it actually seeming to love what they're doing. Treating the customers with respect being conversational and a pleasure to interact with. Meghanne with an H and two N's and an E (I hope I got that right) and the rest of the staff at this location are a credit to this franchise location and the franchisee. The sandwiches even look happy (if that's possible) because the people that work there are happy and it spills over to the service and the customers with the overall experience. I'd like to say job well done but the job is done so much better than well. It's my 2nd time at this location in 7 days and its 40 miles from where I live but I had such a great customer experience last week that I said if I'm anywhere near this location then I will make it a point to go there. All the Jersey Mike's have a better customer experience than your other franchise food places in my opinion, but this one stands way above the rest. I'm sorry for not knowing all your names to list so I will say to all who had a shift on Saturday January 28th 2023 at 3:43. Keep up the great work. I suspect that it is also a reflection of great management and a great owner of the franchise. Give this...
Read moreHORRIBLE, Absolutely INCOMPETENCE, ordered 2 subs, one with no onions, one with extra onions, and they F__d it up by not putting any onions. Black guy cutting meat was extremely unprofessional, he f__d up and didnt own up to it making it seems like I did something wrong. Either he didnt put right instructions on the order ticket or the girl making it didn't read or doesnt know how to read. Then just wanting to put onions on top like it's a cold cut sandwich and I said no, I wanted it integrated like a regular hot sandwich, I ordered philly cheesesteak. Then he goes, u want us to make another one, I said, you know what, sure. Then he goes, u stay here (by the register), not where I was standing earlier (by the order location) where I was watching them make my sandwiches. I said, if i wasn't standing there, u would have sold me a sandwich, which was wrong. I could stand there earlier, but not now? WHY? Also, him telling me, we are a little busy right now, and I said, I'm a customer and ordered like everyone else, what do u mean u are a little busy right now? And now u want me standing and waiting for my new sub far away, so u can spit in my new sandwich or something, I goggled another jersey mikes location and left. Those incompetent workers need...
Read moreAs a long time Jersey Mikes customer, since 2012. Before they had locations in CT and Long Island. The preordering, rewards toward free subs, and curbside pickup is what keeps me coming back. I had been on the road traveling for work a lot, long hours. I love the Mikes Way cold subs, and Cheese steaks are ok. But Garlic Parm bread is always a must!!
I placed an order in the app at 11:55pm. Expected it to be ready at 12:10. When I arrived at 12:11 my sandwich was 95% made, hanging off the counter, as multiple, in person orders were being completed. After they knew I was waiting and left a $2 tip. At 12:23 the condiments were added sub was wrapped and handed to me with a good amount of napkins. Waiting 13 mins longer than the app’s expected pickup time. And seeing my sub hanging off the counter was an act of Disrespect, to the sub and me the customer! I understand it was a busy time of day at a busy store. But to keep a customer waiting while he watched his 20$ sub sit on the counter getting bumped into is unacceptable. Of course I couldn’t get the $2 tip back either. The manager/grill man even reminded the sandwich artist, “John is here and still...
