Overpriced, subpar liquid.. I can't even call it a beer , coz it doesn't taste like beer . I went to the brewery expecting to find this amazing beer , coz the ratings are so great, but out of 3 different kinds of juicy ipa I asked for I only liked one and found two literally disgusting. Paid $68 for 3 packs, which is upsetting, coz in my opinion if I go to the factory and buy it to go it should be cheaper than if I bought it at a supermarket. Didn't know anything about the beer, just told the girl I want juicy hazy ipa . I got the three she recommended, but found it weird and disappointed that I'm at the brewery and I wasn't offered a taste. You'd think for these prices they can offer tasting to people unfamiliar with their product. Or maybe they belive it's easier to sell without a taste. Anyway, regardless of the price, this is not beer I would ever buy again . I'm drinking my second double ipa as I'm writing this, and every sip confirms my opinion. Its like some sweet, aromatic juice with...
Read more5/5 for the beer. The IPA’s were tasty and the stout was really good too.
3/5 for service - this is the first time I’ve ever been to a brewery/bar/restaurant that I asked for a tiny of taste of something that they told me I have to buy a 5 oz pour to taste something. The 5 oz pour is a ridiculous price of $5. $1 per ounce. I refuse to pay $5 to try the tiniest taste of something to see if I want to get a glass of it.
1/5 for prices - the prices are expensive, $5 for 5 oz, $8-10 for 12 oz, no option for a pint. You can go to local breweries with just as good of beer and get pints of beer for cheaper than they charge for 12 oz. If I wanted to get a flight of 4 beers it would cost around $20. Any other brewery a flight is almost half that price.
The location makes it hard for them to have a food truck, and parking is at a train station.
I’ll likely be back for some growler fills, but they definitely need some fine-tuning with customer service and more...
Read moreReally good beers- love the style of glass they use for their beers & that you can get different sizes as opposed to a flight. We went in and tried just about everything in the 5oz size - their stout was delicious, creamy & chocolatey. The IPA styles were all so unique, hazy and not overly hoppy for no reason. Will definitely be back to enjoy more. Make sure you know where to find them though - they're kind of tucked away underneath the train station in Copiague in not such a great area. But their tasting room is like industrial chic - and they have a pretty large outdoor area with lots of seating & umbrellas. No food but I'm sure there's plenty of local places that...
