Hands of Gold Jewelry and Repairs — Local services in Town of Babylon

I had a really some bad experiences with them.

1. I bought a gold ring with stone, the stones fell after wearing the ring twice They fix it and it got broken again finally I brought it so many times to them I lost my last receipt and they said they don’t have it.
2. I kept trusting them I thought it was my fault I lost the receipt but I then bought them a three colors gold chain and it broke too. When I went there to fix it they want it to charge me 30 dollars to fix a gold chain that I paid 400 dollars and it broke by itself. No way! I ended up selling it somewhere else for 100
3. last draw: I brought a thick heavy ring to engrave it with my initials The ring belonged to my aunt and I knew it perfectly. My fault I did not have them weight it to know the grams of gold They took a week and a half to engrave it, something was weird, finally they gave me a completely different ring! Half of the weight or less! The other was like 8 grams of gold, the one that they returned is 3.5 grams They are the Hands of the Devil I never ever step back in there and I will never go there again! Do not trust them Have everything weight if you still go! And claim the gold certificates They are not...

I used this business establishment because of the reviews I read unfortunately I was highly disappointed with the courtesy and professionalism I received. I needed a watch band sized the individual who I spoke with stated he will remove 4 links this is his professional opinion. Upon trying the watch on it was way too loose I explained to him I’m not comfortable or happy with the way the watch fit he insisted that it was fine and convinced me that if he removed (1) more link it would fit too tight at this point I was very uncomfortable because this individual was so insistent I paid and tipped him and left very unsatisfied. I sat in my vehicle for a few minutes and went back in to explain my discomfort with the looseness of the band he rudely took the watch and said to the female individual “Ay dios Mio!” He then rudely removes the link and to his and the woman’s amazement the watch fit perfectly. I will not be disrespected and will not spend my hard earned money with such an incompetent and inexperienced individual and establishment. Extremely poor customer service skills and zero patience in satisfying customer’s needs. I will not recommend or return to this business...

I am not one to post much but this experience with Hands of Gold deserves a tremendous shout out for being so awesome in there customer service and workmanship…not only are they so passionate about taking care of their customers (mind you they are all cousins and family servicing the community for generations)but they are extremely experienced in excepting one’s concept and then creating a beautiful one of a kind piece of jewelry in a very timely fashion with a team of very talented staff and associates…I highly recommend them to anyone who needs such attention and care with a level of trust that surpasses my every expectation…they were a pleasure to do business with and look forward to doing business for many...
