I came in thinking this place would be like Laza Café. What I got instead was an overpriced health hazard wrapped in chocolate smears and denial.
I paid $27 for a crepe and a shakeâ and what I got looked (and tasted) like it had been scraped off a sticky floor. The crepe was soggy, the shake was mid at best, and the place? FILTHY. Iâm talking chocolate dripping off the trash can, fingerprints and grime all over the walls and windows, and the kind of stickiness that makes you want to shower immediately.
The air was thick and dead, like the place hadnât seen ventilation since its rebranding from Red Chilliâ and trust me, nothing else changed except the name. The staff looked drenched in sweat, no gloves in sight, and were handling everything like we werenât right there watching. Disgusting.
My friend ordered the strawberry Dubai chocolate cup and the strawberries were warm and slimy, like they had been sitting out all day in a sauna. The smell inside was so off, it was like sweet, sour, and spoiled all at once. I left with a tight chest and a side of regret.
Whatâs even more disturbing is that theyâre selling this to people like itâs some kind of gourmet experience. Iâve seen more sanitary setups at a county fair. And donât even get me started on the ownerâs responses to reviewsâ defensive, delusional, and never once acknowledging the actual problem. If everyoneâs saying the same thing, maybe itâs not a conspiracy⊠maybe your place is just gross.
You can rebrand all you want, but if the floorâs sticky, the staffâs sweaty, and the strawberries taste like compost, itâs still trash. Call the health department â this place needs to be inspected yesterday.
Save your money. Save your stomach. Save your dignity. Go literally...

Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars, I would.âšThis was one of the dirtiest, most disappointing dessert spots Iâve ever stepped into. The entire place felt unsanitary â the trash cans were overflowing, the doors were grimy, and nothing about the environment felt remotely clean. I paid $20 for a âDubai chocolate strawberryâ and what I got was a complete joke. The strawberries were sour, unwashed, and tasted borderline spoiled. The chocolate? Tasted like melted plastic mixed with artificial sweetener. The pistachio topping tasted stale and rancid, like it had been sitting in a dusty container for months. This place is not even in the same league as Chocolate Factory or Laza. I genuinely donât understand how it has 4.6 stars unless the ownerâs entire family and friend group left fake reviews. Avoid this spot like the plague. Dirty, overpriced, and...
