One of the worst hair cuts i ever had.
I came in there as per a friend recommendation to get a simple cut, just a cut to simply have my hair level down, i specifically asked her to cut it my hair a bit shorter then i usually have it, but just long enough so that my ears will be covered. But i made it clear to have my hair cut short, she even repeated the exact same thing to me in order to let me know she understood what i wanted.
The hair cutter said she will be able to do that no problem and since this is my first time in the place i will get a free "MVP" experience in which i will get a massage or whatever.
The haircut was horrible and they covered my ears WAY to much in that i had the most conspicuous sideburns in my head, and to make matters worse these sideburns were uneven. Also, the top and back of my hair basically weren't cut at all seems like they just cut a strand of hair in the top and back and called it a haircut.
The "MVP" experience was crap to, the massage was simply a chair from that one store in the smith haven mall, only difference is they put a hot towel on your face. The fact my hair dresser was talking to a co worker did not help with the "MVP" experience either. But hey, i got it for free if they made me pay for it it would of been 100 percent more worse.
Now the price is the main reason i am pissed off. Essentially i paid 25 bucks for a crappy haircut i am not happy with, and the sad fact is i got this MVP bs for free, so now i am wondering how much i would of paid if i actually had to pay for the "MVP" experience.
To make matters worse the hair cutter gave me an attitude cause i chose not to tip, if you want a tip don't give me a crappy hair cut .
Unless you want to be scammed do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe worst place to now go for haircuts. I used to like this place and they used to do a really good job and I would tip them really well. I thought twice in the past three weeks iāve been trying to get a haircut. I donāt have time during the day because I work and by the time I get out theyāre closed so wait for the weekend. I go there today to try to get a haircut and again I was told it was a really long wait. Meanwhile it was just four people on the board myself included. Why donāt you just come out and say that you donāt wanna cut my hair ever again like I donāt get it with my blacklisted from my hair salon. The first time three weeks ago I was told to come back 40 minutes later I didnāt have time to come back. I had to go somewhere. Iām sure they donāt care, but Iām never coming back again.
Update 8/6/24:I went back to Sports Clips today. No one in this town can seem to cut my hair the way I like it.Even though I say how I want my hair cut. I had Jamie, every time she cuts my hair she does an awesome job. Thanks Jamie,...

Con: the barber either is completely unskilled or hard of hearing, neither being favorable traits for this profession. My son has curly hair, about 9 inches long before the haircut. We requested a trim on the top to keep his hair healthy, and a fade on the sides and back. My sonās hair is now 4 inches long, 5 inches shorter than when he walked in. Needless to say, heās upset, and cried as soon as we got into the car. The haircut was compensated; however, the barber never apologized for the whole misstep. As kind as the manager was, we will not be coming back. Iād rather pay more for a quality haircut by a skilled professional than a cheap haircut by an amateur or someone not willing to admit they didnāt have the skill set needed for this specific haircut.
