Authentic Mexican food, convenient location and descent price. Direction: Google Map guided me in a very strange way there so here is my suggestion. Once you reach the plaza parking lot, just park there and walk to the restaurant directly instead of going to the back of the buildings. Expectation: My Mexican friend brought me to this restaurant. It is very busy and the tables were full when I arrive. Most of customers speak Spanish here which also raise my expectation on the food~ Food: They provide Special of Day which is a hidden menu. On that day it was different kind of meat (shrimp, chicken, beef, and so on) hanging on a hot rock bowl with three feet. I looks interesting but sadly it is a bit salty for me. My friend recommended Molcajete so I ordered it. This dish includes chicken and eggs (I chose scrambled eggs) with taco and the bottom. They came with large size and I finished all. My favorite Mexican food actually is guacamole. They provide you a whole bowl with chips as appetizer for free LOL Drinks: I did not imagine to has such a huge cup of drinks at all. The white one has milk inside and the brown one which looks like iced tea taste like a light version of sour plum soup. We enjoyed our dinner a lot :)

Traveling back from a trip on a Sunday. We didn’t want to go to a chain so googled Mexican restaurant near me and this came up. It’s a small diner and was crowded. Language barrier was a tiny bit of a challenge but made it work. The food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. I mean so, so good! I’m so glad we stopped here

Amazing low-key Mexican diner. Great limited short order menu. The roja sauce with the complimentary chips was great. I ordered chicken enchiladas which came ina green sauce topped with chopped steak and a fried egg. The horchata was delicious. Muy bueno.

The cup of juice was a whole pitcher (The tamarindo juice was super watery, I’m used to Dominican jugo de tamarindo, sweeter, darker. The eggs with salsa verde meant the whole plate was drenched in salsa verde, totally not what we were expecting. The steak was served very chopped, we were hoping and clarified with the waitress we didn’t want ‘taco meat.’ It definitely seemed like taco meat. The home fries were cooked in the orange like Sazon packages. They were thin slivers of potatoes, organelle in color due to the seasoning. The place was definitely unique and we finished most of the food. The bachata music was a nice touch, maybe I’d do ranchera or Mexican/Latin-American pop (Mana)....

We used to go to this diner way back when it was Chris' diner. We came to Gabinos shortly after it opened. The service and people were friendly and the breakfast very good. Due to a crazy amount of medical issues we did not venture out for a long time. Visited recently and it was just as clean and the staff just as personable. We ordered breakfast and it was hot, plentiful and cooked to our perfection. Coffee is delicious and the complimentary homemade chips and salsa were spot on. Will DEFINITELY ho back and try lunch. If you are in the...
